Sweet Suite 2014: McFarlane's Walking Dead Building Sets: LIVE Images & Instructions

San Diego Comic-Con may be days away, providing the first looks at PILES of new toys from across the globe, but that didn't stop one Blogger friendly toy event from pulling out all the stops.

- Free Booze? Check
- Candy and Cupcakes everywhere? Double check
- Food! Check with my mouth full

And on top of these minor indulgences, there were wall to wall TOYS!! Nestled in a dark little corner were our friends at McFarlane Toys, ready to greet Daryl Dixon loving Blogger Mommies with their new Walking Dead Building Sets...and there was happiness across the land. It seems like only yesterday we introduced you to this LEGO-busting line-from-out-of-nowhere, and now, we get to dive even further into the details AND show the construction toy experts the plans for TWO of these sets so you can get a sense of what you'll have to work with when everything hits Toys R Us stores July 24th...

Things to look for in the images:

     - Figures attach to pegs via a little half circle on the back of their foot.
     - The Governor's daughter's head looks odd because there appears to be a bag over it.
     - These tiny figures have better likenesses than some of their larger counterparts!!
     - Yes..the Governor's fish tanks light up. You know..for ambiance.
     - Sadly, very little articulation on these figures, so the sitting figures will stay seated and so on.
     - Helpful Todd Tips on some of the instruction pages!

The Walking Dead series one product line will feature building sets, expansion packs, and figure blind bags for consumers to build their own The Walking Dead apocalypse:

The Building Sets: MSRP $9.99-64.99 – Daryl Dixon with Chopper, The Governor’s Room, and Prison Tower with Gate.  Expand your brick building apocalypse with additional figure and accessory packs.

Blind Bag Figures: MSRP $2.99 – Daryl Dixon, Michonne, The Governor, Carl Grimes, Riot Gear Walker, Michonne’s Pet Walker, and Herd Walkers.

Now let's check out how those sets build up...
