It's been some time since Hasbro premiered their Marvel Gamerverse 3.75 inch action figure line with Iron Man vs Mega Man X, which came as an awesome surprise for toy fans in general and a mind blowing product drop for longtime Capcom Vs fans. With the popularity of Twitch on the rise and celebrity gamers in the press daily, it should come as no surprise that toy companies would be paying more attention to video game properties, especially when they already own a license for half the characters!

Capcom's Devil May Cry Returns May 2019

The iconic Mega Man video game franchise continues to celebrate its 30th anniversary throughout 2018 with the recently released Mega Man X: Legacy Collection, a new animated series - Mega Man: Fully Charged - premiering in August, and all-new game - Mega Man 11 - hitting consoles in October. CAPCOM Producing Monster Hunter 3D Animated Special

Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, and Pure Imagination Studios, the award-winning independent micro-studio that combines proprietary technology with groundbreaking storytelling are in production on a computer graphics animated special that will expand upon the universe of “Monster Hunter,” Capcom’s blockbuster game series. The two companies will produce and co-finance the special with Pure Imagination overseeing domestic and international sales.  Joshua Fine (“Ultimate Spider-Man” (STARZ)) wrote the special. Production will be completed this Winter and the special is expected to premiere globally in 2019.

E3 2018: Reimagined Resident Evil 2 Coming January

At the Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) E3 press conference today, Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, unveiled the first look at the new Resident Evil 2, one of the most highly anticipated games of all time. Based on the original genre-defining masterpiece, the new game has been completely rebuilt from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience. Using Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, Resident Evil 2 offers a fresh take on the classic survival horror saga with breathtakingly realistic visuals, heart-poundingly immersive audio, a new over-the-shoulder camera, and modernized controls on top of gameplay modes from the original game. Resident Evil 2 brings its reimagined brand of horror to the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC on January 25, 2019.

Capcom Reveals Mega Man 11 & Legacy Titles for 30th Anniversary

Today during the Mega Man 30th Anniversary Livestream in partnership with Twitch, Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, revealed Mega Man 11, the next evolution in the long-running 32 million unit-selling action platformer series. Led by a talented, veteran development team at Capcom, the new game features tight side-scrolling action gameplay the series is known for while completely revolutionizing the experience for modern consoles. Mega Man 11 will be a great entry for both fans and newcomers to the series to dive into as it retains its signature challenge while offering a variety of difficulty options. The game is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and Windows PC in late 2018.

The lovely ladies of Street Fighter are back for more fun summer pinups, and this time they’ve brought along their fighting game friends from Darkstalkers, Rival Schools, and Final Fight! Chun-li, Cammy, and Laura are joined by Morrigan, Tiffany, Poison and many more fan-favorite fighters!

The Street Fighter and Friends 2017 Swimsuit Special will feature three standard covers by artists Ecchi-Star (CVR A), Aki Li (CVR B) and Ryan Kinnaird (CVR C). The issue will also feature a Blank Sketch cover (CVR D), as well as a retailer incentive cover (CVR E) by artist Joe Vriens. This special incentive cover features the swimsuit-clad Morrigan paying homage to a classic horror image from the 1960s.

Udon's Street Fighter VS Darkstalkers Comic Series

After a tantalizing tease at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, UDON Entertainment is thrilled to officially announce Street Fighter VS. Darkstalkers, an all-new comic series that sees Capcom’s legendary World Warriors and fan-favorite Night Warriors facing off in an action-packed, fan service-fueled comic adventure!

The series will kick off in February 2017 with Street Fighter VS. Darkstalkers #0, a special prelude issue brought to you by mainstay UDON crew members Matt Moylan (story) and Hanzo Steinbach (art). The series proper will then launch soon thereafter with Street Fighter VS. Darkstalkers #1, the first of an epic 8-issue series whose main creative team consists of beloved UDON veterans Ken Siu-chong (story) and Edwin Huang (art). And starting with issue #2, the series will also feature 4-page backup stories from a variety of creators!

I fondly remember the days when Marvel Comics didn't take itself quite so seriously and had Swimsuit Special editions featuring teeny tiny outfits cosplayers re-create even today (bless them.) Gamora completely rocked her Death's Head bikini. She Hulk was awe inspiring. (no, I don't have a thing for green girls, but thanks for asking.) Even the dudes got in on it. These days, with Cinematic Universes to cultivate, the mighty Marvel Comic universe most likely takes its lead from folks preserving the marketing potential...and so..no scantily clad super folks. Capcom....has no such mandate. Begin your hnnnng mantra...

E3 2016: Capcom Announces Resident Evil 7 biohazard

Dhalsim Joins Street Fighter V

Revealed today during the Sony press conference at Paris Games Week, a host of brand new information for Street Fighter V was shared. Yoshinori Ono took to the stage to confirm that the title will be launching across Europe and North America on February 16, 2016! Additionally, everyone’s favorite yoga-inspired fighter, Dhalsim, has stretched his way into the Street Fighter V roster. Attendees at Paris Games Week will have the opportunity to play the first ever demo build featuring Dhalsim, as well all of the previously confirmed characters: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Cammy, Vega, M. Bison, Birdie, Charlie Nash, Necalli, R. Mika, Rashid, Karin, Zangief and Laura.

Celebrate 8-bit History with Mega Man Legacy Collection

Mega Man Legacy Collection will be available digitally across North America and Europe starting August 25, 2015 for $14.99 / €14.99 / £11.99 on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC, and early 2016 on the Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system. Physical editions of the game will also be available early 2016 in North America for $29.99 on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Nintendo 3DS. More details regarding the Nintendo 3DS digital release and the physical editions will be confirmed at a later date.

SDCC 2015: Capcom's Full Comic-Con Lineup- Panels & Exclusives

Capcom will be at San Diego Comic-Con this week (Booth #215, Hall A) with plenty of activities in store for fans including signing sessions, panels with special surprises, playable demos of Capcom’s upcoming games lineup, plus cool collectible merchandise available at the Capcom Store. Playable publicly for the first time at SDCC 2015 will be Resident Evil 0, a newly remastered version of the series’ origin story, and Mega Man Legacy Collection, featuring the 8-bit history of the iconic Blue Bomber. A playable demo of Street Fighter V, the newest entry in the legendary fighting game franchise, will also be available with a roster that features all of the currently announced characters, including the most recently revealed Cammy and Birdie. Other exciting Street Fighter V activities will take place on the tournament stage in the Capcom booth throughout the event.

Capcom Reveals the Details of Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition

Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition is currently in development for PC, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and will be available to purchase as a digital download in Summer 2015. The Special Edition will include the original 2008 release, which went on to sell over 3 million copies worldwide, plus three new playable characters, Legendary Dark Knight Mode and additional gameplay improvements. Today, the first trailer has been released to showcase the new and improved features from this critically-acclaimed chapter in the legendary Devil May Cry series.
