In the first Animal Crossing game for mobile devices, you can interact with animal friends, craft furniture items and gather resources while managing a campsite. SDCC 2016: The Nintendo Update
By Spencer CamardaAside from the plethora of Ash Ketchums, Starbucks Coffee stands, and never-ending lines that zig and zag every way known to man, the number of gaming developers is, inexplicably, ever-expanding within Comic Con’s corridors. While spending a majority of my time inside of the Nintendo Lounge located adjacent to the Convention Center inside of the Marriot, I found a number of spectacles that left me begging for more. Everything from new 3DS releases, to Wii U, and to the first reveal of Nintendo’s NES: Classic Edition. Let’s dive in!

Sweet Suite 2015: The Nintendo Stars of Skylanders Superchargers
Amid the brand new toys found at every station at Sweet Suite 2015 was a veritable oasis of large flat screens where Skylanders danced...and blasted each other to kingdom come. Skylanders Superchargers, in the spirit of the future where the world is 100% inclusive and not racist against little italian plumbers, barrel flinging gorillas and Gamora-esque lizards with anger issues, has opened their doors to the wayward orphans of Nintendo, providing a new home for those downtrodden, scruffy underdogs. HOW CHARITABLE OF THEM!! Like any good nation protecting their borders, the Skylanders nation is only letting two Nitendonians into their new game. We'll see how it goes. Maybe some people will like it? We'll take a look at the new Superchargers game figures while we recap the finer points of the game for the n00bs.

SDCC 2015: Nicole's Adventures: Day 2- Game Time with Skylanders, Mario, Yoshi & More
I love when even our photographers get in on these daily reports from giant-sized conventions. On the floor of San Diego Comic-Con, 100 people can have COMPLETELY different experiences. Nicole Marrokal loves to shoot all the cosplayers she can, as well as hunting up the newest Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon and My Little Pony products, but she's also into video games. At SDCC, she can get hands on time with an impressive list of soon to be released games from a number of excellent companies, and today she brings lends some of her impressions of ...well...arguably the cuter games found on the show floor!Mario Maker:
You can play as a newer looking Mario or the old school version. The press rep on hand said there would be some pre-made levels, but you'll primarily be playing in levels you make or others online have made.
I jumped into a fast level were you have 10 or 20 seconds left on the clock to finish. You have to run-jump just right to get the star and you barely make it to the end. It took me 3 tries because missing the star means you will not win, so you've got to start all over!

E3 2015: Round Up of the Big Three Conferences
What would E3 be without the pre-show press conferences?
Every year, gamers look forwards to the press events from Microsoft, Sony and
Nintendo to see the latest announcements, and hope that their favorite
system will ‘win’ E3 with some huge news. In many ways it’s
the World Series for the video game fanboy.

Splatoon is Unadulterated Online Fun
Young teenage inklings compete in a series of fun paintball-esque
online competitions. Shooting coloured ink with various weapons, they can then
use their ability to turn into a squid form and swim quickly through this ink.
Meanwhile, in the plaza, a mysterious old Cuttlefish encourages you to join him
in his battle against the Octarians to recover the stolen Zapfish which power
Inkopolis.

Nintendo Offers One More Round of Splatoon Testfire Ahead of Launch
A short while ago, Nintendo gave Wii U owners a chance to
sample their upcoming exclusive, online shooter Splatoon. For those that missed
the free taste, they are opening the demo up again for one hour on Saturday the
23rd of May at 6PM EDT, ahead of the games launch next week on
Friday the 29th allowing people another chance to see what all the
buzz is about.
Splatoon marks Nintendo’s first foray into the online
shooter market, but it does a lot more than add bright cartoony graphics to the
genre. Okay yes, it does add bright cartoony graphics because that’s Nintendo’s
thing, but it does more than that.
