NYCC 2018: DC Collectibles Reveals

The Dark Knight and his foes are taking over the DC Collectibles slate in 2019. Announced today at New York Comic Con, DC Collectibles will debut a dedicated Bat-cowl line and new Batman-themed statues next summer.

Expanding its best-selling DC Gallery line of prop replicas, DC Collectibles will celebrate the distinct designs of the Caped Crusader’s iconic cowl seen in comics, video games and more, with a collection of 1:2 scale Bat-cowl replicas. The first Bat-cowl is inspired by DC’s critically acclaimed DC Universe Rebirth comics and will hit stores in May 2019. The DC Rebirth cowl will be followed by the 3-D interpretation of Batman’s cowl featured in the fan-favorite Batman: Arkham Asylum video game produced by Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Fans can bring home the Arkham Asylum cowl replica in July 2019.

NYCC 2018: Stan Against Evil Season 3 Trailer & Halloween Mask Promo

Bang out some spells and spring some trapped souls this Halloween with the premiere of IFC’s horror-comedy Stan Against Evil.  In the all-new official Season 3 trailer, unveiled today at New York Comic Con, catch a glimpse of the nightmarish moths, possessed puppets and evil plumbers (yeah, you read that right) swiftly taking over the quaint New England town of Willard’s Mill.

In addition, Stan Against Evil is celebrating its Halloween premiere in two all-new promos, one paying homage to some‘thing’ strange and another highlighting the debut of this season’s must-have trick-or-treat masks.

NYCC 2018: McFarlane Toys Enters the Game of Thrones

McFarlane has been re-acquainting themselves with rabid action figure fans the world over with their mega popular Stranger Things toy line, alongside ongoing Destiny, Call of Duty and Walking Dead additions and the newly arrived Star Trek figures. McFarlane have always been known for their sculpting excellence, but have generally stepped back from providing a great level of articulation, rendering their action figures fairly action-less. NYCC 2018: The World of Minecraft Comes to Comics

Dragon Ball Super Movie Releases Jan.16

The wait is over, and the battle date set. Super Saiyans Goku and Vegeta will gather to face their most powerful foe ever on January 16 – the official theatrical opening date for “Dragon Ball Super: Broly” announced today by Funimation® Films.  The 20th film from the franchise and first from the “Dragon Ball Super” series, “Dragon Ball Super: Broly” is based on the original story, screenplay and character designs of creator Akira Toriyama and features an updated art style reminiscent of the classic bestselling Dragon Ball manga series. To celebrate the new film, Funimation will host a star-studded red carpet world premiere of the English dub on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the historic TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Expected guests will include the stars of the English cast, celebrity guests and studio executives.

Guillermo del Toro offers a first look inside his upcoming Netflix original series DreamWorks Tales of Arcadia: 3Below, the second chapter in the Tales of Arcadia trilogy. The panel will also include executive producers Rodrigo Blaas, Marc Guggenheim and Chad Hammes, and actor Diego Luna. The series follows two royal teenage aliens, and their bodyguard who flee a surprise takeover of their home planet by an evil dictator and crash land in Arcadia. Now on the run from intergalactic bounty hunters, they struggle to blend in and adapt to the bizarre world of high school all the while attempting to repair their ship so they can return and defend their home planet.

NYCC 2018: WBTV Bringing Titans, Legacies, Riverdale, Gotham & More

Warner Bros. Television kicks off New York Comic Con on Wednesday, October 3, with the world premiere screening of the live-action dramatic adventure series Titans, which launches October 12 as the first original series for the new DC UNIVERSE digital subscription service. The exclusive debut screening will be followed by a Q&A session with series stars and executive producers, who will shed further light on the highly-anticipated first season. The star and producer sessions continue on Saturday, October 6, when the next generation of supernatural beings at The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted takes fans inside Legacies (Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW), the thrilling next chapter in The Vampire Diaries/The Originals trilogy. NYCC 2018: Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Activities
