Watch Rick and Morty Kill The Simpsons
There have been many "couch gags" over the endless years The Simpsons have been on TV. How many? Ohhh...at least 56. At least. That's a lot. This Sunday, worlds collide as the stars of Adult Swim's Rick and Morty take a wrong turn down a happy, brightly colored street in Springfield.
Adult Swim and FOX announced today that characters from the original animated series Rick and Morty from Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland will be making an appearance in the Season Finale of FOX’s award-winning animated hit comedy The Simpsons. Taking over the famous Simpsons “Couch Gag”, Rick and Morty will bring their multi-dimensional insanity to the home of iconic characters Marge, Homer, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. The Season Finale episode will air May 17 (8:00-8:30 pm ET/PT) on FOX.

The LEGO Simpsons Adventure
I would watch a whole movie of this. or a mini movie. or a video game someone else is playing unless it is ridiculously easy because I suck at video games. For now, all we get is a LEGO episode of The Simpsons entitled "Brick Like Me". Homer is going through some startling changes in this episode, as his nearly indestructible plastic parts are slowly being replaced with erasable cartoony ones!! THE HORROR. With each flash on an alternate reality where everything exists in 2 dimensions and claw hands are replaced with pudgy fingers, Homer takes one step closer to MADNESS!!! ...or he'll just roll with it. Could go either way. 50/50. Check out the trailer...

ONE CELEBRITY AT A TIME!! I instantly started sending Randy Falk hand written letters in crayon on construction paper asking when he would be putting The Ramones in this line. It's been a good use of my time. I've sent 29 so far. Today, we get a CGI'd up look at the first 5.

Toy Fair 2013 : New Licenses for New Toys
Once a year I used to have the pleasure of dropping in on the New York Licensing Show to get a look at art for new projects, see what older movies the companies were pushing for new product and sometimes, if we were lucky, see actual toys set to hit shelves in the future. That show moved to a shmoozier location in Las Vegas, so now I am left to beg for images from people who get to attend. At UK Toy Fair, the show is primarily like a smaller version of the US counterpart with rows of new product available for order to shops large and small, but that doesn't mean companies can't tempt those manufacturers showing off their wares with the possibilities of licenses for films they love.
...And with that opening teaser, we present two advertisements that reveal..well..not much...but spark a fire collectors love to poke at and watch grow into reality. It's Possibility. Today's licensing offerings are tomorrows new action figures on the pegs!

Kid Robot's Simpsons Series 2 Figures : Now with Extra Sadness!

If you are a card carrying member of the USA, you love to be able to walk into a store and score the little trinket that has tickled your fancy on any given day. What is the enemy of this freedom? BLIND BOXING!! Usually, this practice is reserved for obscure properties, art toys and other comunist interests, but every once in a while, it is dropped right on our unsuspecting, unprotected laps. Kid Robot is one company that loves the torment. Their series of Adult Swim figures created a world of shelves filled with Moral Orels and Toki Wartooths but barely any Mooninite Death Rays.
