Party City, America’s largest party specialty retailer, celebrates the launch of its new “MAYHEM” character costume, created by Tyrese Gibson, the two-time Grammy nominated, multi-platinum selling R&B singer and actor of such international blockbuster films like 4 Brothers, Death Race, and the Transformers and Fast and Furious franchises, both in which he is currently simultaneously reprising his roles as Master Sgt. Epps in Transformers 3 and his popular character of Roman Pierce in FAST FURIOUS 5. Launched exclusively in the San Diego market during Comic Con in Late July and online at PartyCity.com, fans young and old flocked to purchase Tyrese Gibson’s MAYHEM costume. The costume’s first run sold fast as Gibson himself walked the convention floor with several costume-clad MAYHEMS and did an in-store signing at the Party City in Chula Vista, CA. Party City is bringing Gibson’s bestselling comic book hero off the pages and into stores just in time for Halloween.

MAYHEM begins on the streets of Los Angeles, where a brutal crime wave led by the mysterious Big X has the entire city in a state of perpetual fear. With even the police force unable to stop him, MAYHEM, a faceless vigilante with only his partner Malice and an unrelenting vengeance to back him up, strikes back against the criminal hordes and restores peace to the City of Angels.
