If you've been visiting our Flickr gallery, you know we've been adding vinyl and resin art toy additions just as often as the Transformers/Marvel Comics/Movie/Comic Book related stuff! So why are we being dicks and not giving them their own articles? It's not for lack of love. The art toy community likes a slow reveal with teasers and specialization on the forums and 3 tons of foreplay before the big reveal. This generally means you'll see a full booth's offerings maybe 3 days before the show starts. I kid...but not very much. On the flip side, Toy2R have stepped up to scream "FUCK IT...WE WANT PEOPLE TO ACTUALLY BUY THESE THINGS!!" Very brave of them! They are rebels. Here's their shiny plastics list...
Scott Tolleson's Uncle Argh 5 Inch Mini Qee (debuts at SDCC) - "How would you like to spend the next several nights wondering if your crazy, out-of-work, bum uncle will shave your head while you sleep?" - Uncle Buck
We've all got them, some are great and some are just downright...well you know. Scott Tolleson offers up his relative to join the ranks of all our wacky uncles. Introducing the new 5" Mini Qee - Uncle Argh.
He's the uncle who hates visits.
The odd one without a care.
Run away if he comes calling,
Or he'll burn you with his stare!
Uncle Argh has been taken directly from Scott Tolleson's original custom 5" Mini Qee from the NYC♥QEE event from February. Due to popular demand, Toy2R is pleased to bring this custom to life as a limited edition production piece dropping this summer, just in time to get the party started! With an SRP of $28.00 each, you'll want to get your pre-orders in at your favorite designer toy haunt to insure you won't miss out on Uncle Argh's arrival. Just be sure to take cover when he arrives!
We will have a signing with Scott on Thursday at 1:00 in booth #601, and Scott will have additional pieces available at his booth (sorry no booth info as yet)
