In the realm of art toys, the term DIY is nothing new, and saying the artists are fueled by the punk rock is an understatement....but this movement has a crew I applaud at every turn and epitomize the spirit of creating awesome collectibles (with love) while supporting the rest of their brothers and sisters. That crew is October Toys (booth 4838). Zombie obsessed, crowd sourced and snappy dressing mofos all describe these champions of DIY plastics. Now we get a look at their purpletastic array of SDCC 2012 exclusives... OMFG Series 1 Purple Edition : OMFG Series 1 from October Toys will be available at San Diego Comic Con booth 4838 in regular pink/flesh color, glow-in-the-dark, and new purple! OT will also be premiering Glow-in-the-dark OMFG sets for $10.
Syzzurp Shrympee Purple Edition : Created by The Chung and produced by 3DRetro, this delicious purple edition of Shrympee is limited to 100 pieces and will be available at October Toys / Toy Break booth 4838 for $15 each.
Chipster Purple Edition : Designed by Scott Tolleson and sculpted by George Gaspar. This Toy Break edition argyle warrior couldn’t be any cuter with a purple face and white scruff for only $35 each!
Toy Break Collectible Trading Cards : Six collectible Toy Break trading cards will be available throughout the convention for free, one per day at October Toys / Toy Break booth 4838.
