Star Wars: The Force Awakens Action Figures Strike Early *UPDATED 8-14*

Just like a good villain, Star Wars: The Force Awakens Kylo Ren has ignored the wishes of Hasbro and Disney and hit stores early...because...SITH HAPPENS!!! Actually Jedi Temple tipped us off to an ebay auction for the first retail 3.75 inch Force Awakens figure available for the low low price of $99 dollars. The gentleman selling informed us his buddy picked up the figure at Walmart...which we assume started with him looking around to see if he was on camera, then trying very hard to not do a happy lil dance, then choking down his unbridled glee as he quick walked to checkout.


And now...THE EYE CANDY!!!

UPDATE! Now Captain Phasma has joined Kylo Ren in this little plastic rebellion. I want to point out this Build-A-Weapon scheme. Of course, the Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure inclusion (also a Hasbro product) is wildly popular, but I'm thinking this Build-A-Weapon won't be a driving force (pun) to get people to snap up all the bits. It's been started from toy experts watching this line closely that these 5 point articulation figures should still be lower priced (under $10), with the Black Series versions for collectors at the crazy making 13 to 15 dollar price point. If the bulk of the new characters wind up in the Black series, this is going to be a rough line for completists!

UPDATE 2: Finn (Jakku..indicating his outfit is specific to this place) and Flametrooper! Flametrooper card back reveals Constable Zuvio!

UPDATE 3! Our ebay buddy is back with more figures for sale. This time we get a look at Boba Fett (who, to my knowledge, is not in the new film, but that would never stop Hasbro from making a new figure. Boba joins Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker as character that are in the lines because why not. BRING ON JAR JAR!!) From the actual films (we think) are the First Order Stormtrooper, First Order Tie Fighter Pilot and Rey in her Starkiller Base outfit (Starkiller foreshadowing Galen Marek??!!). Also pictured on the back but not shown in figure form (yet) is Poe Dameron and a Resistance Trooper. Check out those card backs for little teeeeny tiny snippets of story from the new movie!

Update 4! A second ebayer named 100th ghost has popped up selling his own Star Wars: The Force Awakens figures and gives us a look at the Resistance Trooper and Constable Zuvio! No cardbacks this time, because 100th ghost is obviously a communist.
