TOMS is putting a cozy spin on the blind bag phenomenon with the launch of its limited-edition Bear Hug Mystery Drop. Available October 2, the collection transforms the brand’s iconic Alpargata into an irresistibly fuzzy collectible with one catch: pick your size, and the rest is a surprise.
Playing into the thrill of the unknown, shoppers receive a mystery pair sealed inside a Bear Hug blind bag. The women’s collection features four collectible colorways: Toffee Brown, Sahara Brown, Chocolate Brown, and the ultra-rare Egret Cream style with multi-colored embroidered bears.
Kids can get in on the surprise too, with two collectible styles, Toffee Brown and Chocolate Brown, with a 50/50 chance of unwrapping either one. Women’s styles start at $80, while kids’ styles start at $50.
Arriving just in time for cozy season, each pair gives the classic Alpargata a fuzzy makeover with embroidered bears, a faux shearling upper and sockliner, and soft fleece lining.
