Long Beach Comic Con Caters to Geeks AND Nerds with Space Expo 2015!

The Columbia Memorial Space Center is partnering with Long Beach Comic Con for Space Expo 2015, an innovative and one­-of­-a-­kind program that will connect comic book convention attendees directly with the world of scientific discovery. Space Expo 2015 will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center as part of Long Beach Comic Con on September 12 and 13, 2015 with panels featuring top aerospace industry notables discussing hot button scientific topics. As part of Space Expo 2015, there will be interactive exhibits featuring robotics, 3D Printing, and even a spacesuit – all curated by Columbia Memorial Space Center, the prestigious CA ­based learning center dedicated to bringing the wonder and excitement of science to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Still Recovering From The Steampunk World's Fair

I've done 4 days of New York Comic Con with added set up the day before and break down on Sunday, shooting something like 2 thousand pictures a day. I've done 5 days of San Diego Comic-Con with interviews at opposite ends of the massive convention center a half hour apart and parties into the night. I've done BEA, lugging home so many books the wheels on my suitcase fell apart half way through Penn Station, AnimeNext where my full eye black contacts tried to eat my head and Rock and Shock where your worst enemy is being talked into continually drinking til 5am...with a 9am wake up call. I have survived all of this...and yet 1 day at The Steampunk World's Fair has done me in. Either I'm getting old, or I'm finally doing this show correctly.

Yes..redundant, but that's how you name things! Company name, subject and so on. No more lip from youuu. As we wallow in the long long wait for New York Comic Con and all the surprises that event will bring, we scour the globe for new info and images. Sometimes we get one and not the other...but sometimes the other already had a sneak peek at San Diego Comic-Con and ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD!! Yes..I'm hyper today. We all love The LEGO Movie and so more sets for this fantastic piece of hysterical animation was a no brainer. Here's what's on tap for 2015...
