SDCC: A Very Special Message to the 500 Incoming Slave Leias

It's not that we don't enjoy seeing you almost naked, it's just that it's getting old. 10 Slave Leias is fine. 50 Slave Leias among the 50k people is just a drop in the bucket....but the numbers are growing. San Diego Comic Con is set to welcome 12k Slave Leias to their annual event this year. Something must be done. Please help spread awareness of this impending crisis. Here's Kaley Cuoco with a personal message on the topic...

Together, we can increase the number of sexy costumes at SDCC without promoting the intergalactic slave trade at the same time. Thank you.

SDCC Preview: Slave Leias Prepare for Attack

Among the countless booths at San Diego Comic Con you'll find toys, artists, upcoming movies, statues, and comics of course, but there is one thing that sets a comic convention apart from all other events normal people attend all year round. COSPLAYERS!! Tall and tiny...bean pole thin and those who are...not so much..all donning costumes of their favorite comic, movie and cartoon characters. Truly, these are special, special people, but among them, there is a tribe of ladies who push the envelope, paying homage to the first lady of Scifi Fantasy as she wore the most iconic bikini ever to slink across a film screen. Her name is Leia Organa and in that costume, she is Slave Leia!

A small contingent of this ultra sexy tribe recently descended on the studios of Gentle Giant to oil up ole' Jabba and prepare him for swarms of hot ladies who will drape themselves before him for photo ops and new Facebook pics. Adrianne Curry was there, sporting her own metal bikini, and shot some video of the gathering. Enjoy!

Slave Leias Charity Car Wash

Courtesy of G4 TV for the Make a Wish Foundation. Some ideas are so simple they are brilliant. If they did this all day they must have made thousands of dollars. In my area of Central, NJ, when the cheerleaders want to raise money with a car wash, they dress in sweats and crappy T shirts and shout at the cars like howler monkeys as you drive by. Not hot. Not hot at all. There's a lesson to be learned here.

Of course I was kidding..and am disgusted. Completely. But its for charity...so I will watch as many times as I need to...for the children.

Slave Leia...Animated...Still Hot

Princess Leia Organa get's the animated treatment! With a sinister Salacious Crumb perched at her side, Leia is posed in her famous "Metal Bikini." Featuring a real metal chain, large hoop earrings and sitting on a Jabba's Palace themed base. This version of Leia has easily been the most requested character in the Gentle Giant "Animated Maquette" series. Cast in high quality poly-stone no detail was over looked. This strictly limited edition collectible is sure to sell out. Our Princess also comes hand numbered, accompanied by a matching certificate of authenticity.

Toy Victory: All The Slave Leias...All The Slave Leias...

If you like it then you shoulda put a metal bikini on it...

Apparently it was Star Warsapalooza in New Jersey this week as multiple series of figures hit the peggs. If you've read my stuff before, you know Central NJ is swarming with scalpers and finding 2 new figures the same day is pure luck. Finding 12 is completely amazing! I'll start you off with a couple of ladies I scooped up...

This is a long awaited update for Slave Leia. The likeness is solid, the articulation is great for such a tiny little figure that just might be in scale with her rebel boys and you get the bonus of an extra lower half so she can lounge beside Jabba and plot his drippy strangulation.

Next up are two bar flies who probably appeared for a milisecond in the "creature cantina" scene of the REAL first Star Wars movie; Leesub Sirlin (the pink lady) and Hrchek Kal Fas (the lizard man). While both have nothing to do with Endor, Hoth or the Gungan Droid Battle (the three scenes I primarily collect for), I couldn't help snagging some more cantina drunks to go with the ones I already have..especially if one is a balding pink hotty who looks like she stepped out of The Last Starfighter. Why the lizard guy? How can you not love a sloshed Saurin droid trader?! The sculpt on this one won me over. If you were an old school Star Wars lover and bowed out from boredom, you may want to take a look. The prices are a little ridiculous for a single figure, but the sculpt and articulation make them must have updates for your older versions.
