Master Replicas Debuts The Matrix Nebuchadnezzar

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Matrix, Master Replicas are releasing an incredibly detailed, 11.8” long, die-cast model of Morpheus’s ship The Nebuchadnezzar. When The Matrix was released in 1999, the Wachowskis changed cinema forever. Sci-fi had never been cooler. The original movie played with huge ideas as Morpheus and his allies freed Neo from his mundane reality and introduced him to the truth: a world where the machines have subjugated humanity. 

The Nebuchadnezzar, which was designed by concept artist George Hull, was at the heart of the story. The Neb was a rusting hovercraft that used EM pulses to protect itself from the machines, as Morpheus and his crew managed to stay one step ahead of the robotic Sentinels.

McFarlane's Movie Maniacs Adds More Non-Maniacs

Yes, folks, the tears are real. Some years back, McFarlane Toys announced a relaunch of their legendary Movie Maniacs action figure line. The fact that the announcement came with no hint of a release schedule or a nudge toward character selection didn't bother die-hard fans much, as the sight of that logo on the walls of their Toy Fair booth alone was enough to generate excitement. Flash forward to 2023 and McFarlane proudly announces their first wave of modern Movie Maniacs, kicking things off with.... Bugs Bunny, Harry Potter, The Wicked Witch of the West, and the genuinely terrifying ....Ted Lasso. McFarlane clarified that rather than returning to the depths to explore horror's most fiendish fiends, their new Movie Maniacs would celebrate 100 years of Warner Brother's movie icons. So...why the moniker "Maniacs"? I'm gonna guess the answer is "Why not?"

The Matrix Trilogy Arrives on 4K Ultra HD 10/30

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced today that The Matrix Trilogy, featuring 1999’s acclaimed sci-fi action classic The Matrix along with the sequels The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions (both 2003) will be released on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack and Digital HD on October 30th, 2018. Written and directed by the Wachowskis (The Matrix Trilogy, Cloud Atlas, Jupiter Ascending, Sense8) and starring Keanu Reeves as Neo, Laurence Fishburne as Morpheus, and Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, The Matrix Trilogy is widely considered to be one of the most influential film franchises in recent history. The Matrix was released on 4K UHD in May 2018.

Written and directed by the Wachowskis and produced by Joel Silver, The Matrix won four Academy AwardsÒ* and revolutionized the sci-fi action film genre.  The 2003 sequels, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, were also written and directed by the Wachowskis and produced by Silver.  The films were distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and produced by Village Roadshow Pictures and Silver Pictures.
