In a world where geekdom has become massive business for Hollywood, taking most dorky pursuits mainstream, it should come as no surprise that something like professional gaming exists, but would it surprise you to know that there are a great many people making a living right now just playing video games while people watch AND THROW MONEY AT THEM??!! The place is called Twitch and when you do the math on what some of these guys make..you will...indeed...twitch. McFarlane knows video games are still as popular as ever and seem willing to jump on game titles even avid players have not heard of yet to stay ahead of the pack. Let's get a look at the crazy impressive lineup of McFarlane Toys' video game action figures, props and construction sets...

IDW's Wondercon Announcements: A "Wormwood" Animated Series, Star Trek, Silent Hill, Transformers & More
At this year’s Wonder Con in Anaheim, IDW unleashed an impressive array
of announcements, bolstering its lineup through the fall of 2014 and
beyond. Brand-new titles, miniseries featuring fan-favorite characters,
new Artist’s Editions, new television deals, and a first-of-its-kind
exclusive creator deal rounded out the action-packed weekend.
IDW has secured the amazing talents of Locke & Key co-creator Gabriel Rodriguez
by signing him to an exclusive deal. His work has appeared in IDW
comics since the very beginning, and will continue to do so exclusively,
with his next project being the hotly anticipated Little Nemo: Return to Slumberland with Eisner Award-winning writer, Eric Shanower.

Telltale Games Poker Night 2
File this under "In Case You Missed It"..because you don't play poker, aren't a hardcore gamer or just don't spend every waking hour on the computer, enabling your brains to soak up every iota of information that pops up under the search terms "Venture Brothers", "Evil Dead" or "Portal". For us...we blame the latter...but the other 2 apply as well. Shoot me for wanting to see the sun occasionally. A poor geek, indeed.
