Telltale Games Poker Night 2

File this under "In Case You Missed It"..because you don't play poker, aren't a hardcore gamer or just don't spend every waking hour on the computer, enabling your brains to soak up every iota of information that pops up under the search terms "Venture Brothers", "Evil Dead" or "Portal". For us...we blame the latter...but the other 2 apply as well. Shoot me for wanting to see the sun occasionally. A poor geek, indeed.

Toy Fair 2012 : NECA Takes on Borderlands

Yes, you get 2 previews today because you've been very good and your mom says you're special. Back at San Diego Comic Con, NECA gave us a taste of things to come with a teaser board showing toys coming from a new Valve license including Team Fortress, Portal 2, Half Life and Left 4 Dead, but no additional details on Borderlands action figures among their video game displays. Pre-orders for Claptrap popped up with the following info...

From the best-selling video game Borderlands comes this highly detailed poseable replica of everyone's favorite robot, Claptrap. The figure stands 4" tall and includes a display base that "speaks" phrases from the game. Claptrap comes with posable arms, wheel, retractable drawer, and antenna.

CLICK HERE for more pics of our little robot buddy. Now we are happy to report Claptrap will have a buddy. PSYCHO BANDIT!

From Wikia : Psychos are bandits who have gone insane with a freakish obsession for the Vault. Shirtless, wearing a white mask and dressed in orange pants, these outlaws can be immediately identified by their homicidal cries, psychotic laughter and constant desire to get into close combat.

So if these guys are a group, people may want to army build, making this the perfect opportunity for NECA to release this dude with alternate weapons and/or blood splatter/battle damage. We'll see if they take advantage of this fact at Toy Fair this February!

Note: NECA's action figures come in a 7 inch scale.
