Toy Fair 2025: Master Replicas Return with Star Trek & More Scifi Goodness

Toy Fair 2025 Master Replicas Star Trek Action Figures 006
When covering UK Toy Fair, we know coverage will be more luck than skill, as while booths are supposed to be prepared for press, they aren't the most welcoming. This causes Us to put the coverage that comes in, from our friends that have other agendas at the show, into 2 piles. Pile one is where our friend was welcomed into the booth and given time to pour over items. You can see it in the shots. Everything looks fantastic. Pile two we call "Yetis", as in the subject was moving too fast to capture clearly and ..well..you get what you get. Whether our friend was the one moving fast or the booth was not entirely welcoming, we'll never know, but we got some pictures and it's enough to get us excited.

Galactus: The Devourer of Worlds Has Come

Hasbro Marvel Comics Galactus Action Figure 012
What will surely go down as one of the best action figures ever made has finally arrived at the doorsteps of die hard Marvel collectors, action figure aficionados and those with 400 bucks to blow on a once in a life time toy project. That year long gamble and half a rent check, in my opinion, is well worth it when you slide all 3 feet of Galactus out of his box and are reminded there are three Marvel Legends heralds packed right along side him. His eyes light up, his chest and head piece blinds and each finger moves in every direction an imaginative or juvenile mind could imagine. You've seen many pictures of this behemoth already, most of which depicted Galactus as a newly adopted child going on many, many suburban adventures (and conquering toilet challenges), as well as those all important video reviews, so we'll skip all that gushing and go right for the eye candy.

The Gravity Teaser Trailer

Remember that movie "Open Water" where two people go diving and when they come up, the boat is gone and they are left floating in the middle of the ocean? Well, Gravity is somewhat like that, if you just took the phrase "left floating" and added IN SPACE!!! Everything is better in space.

Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth...and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.

Apollo 18 Reviewed

I'm glad it seems some of you found some joy at the movies this weekend because I sure as hell did not. Apollo 18 turned out to be Paranormal Lunar Activity minus all the tension, likable characters and ability to conjure little more than a cheap jump scare. Shark Knight proved you CAN make a film with giant killer sharks boring!! What could have been a hysterical, over the top, wonderfully gorey mess turned into a serious thriller with a sub plot and folks racing around seeking rescue. Lame. At any rate, we tackled Apollo 18 for Dread Central, so CLICK HERE to dive right into the review..and then warn a friend.
