ASGARD Partners with Blumhouse for Graphic Novel Adaptation of Fear the Spotlight

NYCC 2025: Mortal Kombat II Promises Brutal Fights, Bigger Stakes, and Karl Urban Swagger

Fans stepping onto the Empire Stage at New York Comic Con didn’t just get a sneak peek at Mortal Kombat II, they were immediately transformed into Johnny Cage, as each attendee was given a pair of signature sunglasses that matches the hero’s snarky and overly-confident character. It was one of the coolest giveaways of the weekend and it set the tone for a panel that delivered knockout reveals, heartfelt cast moments, and one seriously wild exclusive clip.

The panel was led by none other than Ed Boon, the legendary co-creator of the Mortal Kombat video game series, who brought both nostalgia and energy, trading stories with the cast and crew, while teasing the audience with potential spoilers for the upcoming film.

The Jester 2 on VOD Today

Epic Pictures’ specialty horror label DREAD proudly presents THE JESTER 2. Getting a good vantage point of MONDO is a struggle, as eager fans buzzed around every display, shooting their own pictures, no doubt to show their loved ones what they want for Christmas. Among the licences on show were the familiar Ghostbusters and X-Men, the previously announced Masters of the Universe 6 inch line, and an AMAZING Over the Garden Wall collection. Total surprises were MONDO venturing back into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles territory and some massive Gargoyles that seemed to be plucked right from the TV screen! 

We'll remind collectors that the Masters of the Universe 6 inch He-Man and Clawful timed editions are about to exit their availability window, with preorders closing at 10:59 AM CT on 10/17, so jump while you've got the chance...

NYCC 2025: Ghost of Diamond On Display

There are days when I openly admit I have no idea what's going on, and you can count today among them. When scouring the floor at New York Comic Con for anything noteworthy you lot would be happy to pour over, I rounded a corner and came upon a display of new toys that reminded me of the ones Diamond Select would have at the front of their booth to represent a wide array of partners with new toys on the horizon, for their distribution wing, respectively. This display at NYCC 2025 was exactly that, bearing only a cryptic diamond symbol above it all. Whatever the status of Diamond as a company, we shot up their display and can deliver a fat stack of pics for you right now...

Atomic Museum Announces "World of Fallout" Exhibition

The  National Atomic Testing Museum announces it will debut its newest exhibition, “World of Fallout,” on Nov. 14, 2025. Presented in partnership with Fallout™ publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Bethesda Game Studios, the installation will comprise objects associated with the game and the TV series it inspired. This compact yet powerful display will highlight the connections between real-world nuclear history and the imaginative storytelling of the video game’s universe. 

Sword of Justice Reveals Global Release Date For PC & Mobile

NetEase Games, the online games division of NetEase, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES, HKEX: 9999), and ZhuRong Studio today announced the global launch date for Sword of Justice. The highly anticipated free-to-play open world MMORPG has already surpassed 40 million downloads across Asia and has achieved over 1 million pre-registrations in the West. Sword of Justice will release worldwide on November 7, 2025, for PC (Steam and Windows) and mobile (iOS and Android) with full cross-platform play.

Deathstalker Art Gives MAGIC THE GATHERING Nod As it Opens Nationwide

Evil has many names…adventure only one! This fall, return to the Kingdom of Abraxeon with Steven Kostanski’s (The Void, PG: Psycho Goreman) reimagining of Roger Corman’s cult sword and sorcery film series, Deathstalker. ToeJam and Earl Developer's Dancing with Ghosts Kickstarter Live

Dancing with Ghosts, the life-sim about finding joy from grief from legendary game developer Greg Johnson’s HumaNature Studios, launches its Kickstarter campaign with the reveal that GRAMMY-winning musician Genevieve Goings will contribute a track to the game.

Genevive Goings first worked with Greg Johnson on ToeJam & Earl III: Mission to Earth. Those recording sessions led to the creation of Choo Choo Soul, which became a hit Disney Junior series and live touring show with two decades of performances. Additional musical guests will be revealed throughout the campaign.

Paramount Unveils New “WORLD OF TMNT”

The Ritual House : A Fantasy Horror Born in Reality

The upcoming independent fantasy-horror feature The Ritual House, directed by Crystal J. Huang and distributed by ITN, isn’t just another haunted-house film — it may be one of the most unsettling shoots in recent memory.

Filmed almost entirely inside the real home of two of its lead actors, The Ritual House blurred the line between fiction and reality in unnerving ways. Characters were written using the actors’ real names, and during production, both cast and crew began to experience chilling events no script could have staged.

“The Conjuring has nothing on this house,” one cast member remarked after a string of unexplained incidents rattled the set.
