SDCC 2013: Let a Predator Behead You!

And no, I'm not talking about the creepy uncle that turns out is related to no one. ~shudder~ I'm talking the legendary alien hunters themselves, holding your head aloft, commemorated in 3 dimensions for you to place on your mantle proudly. I wasn't jealous of any of you before. Now...yea...I'm there.

Nothing like it has ever been at Comic-Con before… Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is bringing an iconic franchise to San Diego as PREDATOR hunts for prey on the convention floor.

In a first-of-its-kind activation at Comic-Con, fans can enter booth #3528 and have their photo taken with state of the art cameras courtesy of 3D Systems.  Their image will then be used to make them the victim as a customized figurine is created using 3D Systems 3D printing technology that features the Predator alien holding the fans’ severed head!

ONE DAY!!  ONE DAY??!! Is your brain exploding? Are you planning what 20 T Shirts you'll be presenting to the geek populace at the biggest dorkstravaganza of the year? Of course you are. ANYWAYS...Nickelodeon is hitting the show in force and dropped word on their activities and shiny plastics. Let's start with TOYS!! We don't have much word on the booth exclusives (#4113) but we do have a Turtle baddie and a pretty, pretty pixie.

Exclusive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder Action Figure:
Playmates Toys and Nickelodeon will be debuting a special Comic-Con edition Shredder action figure.  Standing at a height of 5.75 inches tall, the 2013 Comic Con Edition Shredder is ready for battle. SDCC 2013: Blood Kiss Rises

Last month, actress Amber Benson, Whoopi Goldberg, noted writer Neil Gaiman, and a number of entertainment industry veterans rallied behind ailing filmmaker Michael Reaves’ feature film “Blood Kiss” helping it to exceed funding goals on the popular crowdfunding site Kickstarter. The project achieved national attention with coverage by Entertainment Weekly, Fangoria, and was featured in George Pennacchio’s entertainment spotlight on the ABC-7 11:00 News. Now, the highly anticipated Vamp Noir feature film which stars Neil Gaiman in his acting debut alongside Amber Benson will be appearing at San Diego Comic-Con 2013 for an autograph signing and press opportunities.

SDCC 2013: Black Sails Above Comic-Con

Zach McGowan (“Shameless”), Jessica Parker Kennedy (“The Secret Circle,” 50/50), Mark Ryan (Transformers, The Prestige), Hakeem Kae-Kazim (“24,” Hotel Rwanda) and “Black Sails” series creators Jonathan Steinberg (“Jericho,” “Human Target”) and Robert Levine (“Touch”) will lead the pirate uprising at Comic-Con 2013 with special appearances. The cast and creators will kick off the previously announced fan-only screening scheduled for Thursday night in San Diego. Additional surprise guest to be announced closer to Comic-Con.

Thursday, July 18th, line up early for an exclusive sneak peek screening of the highly anticipated high-seas STARZ Original drama from Executive Producer Michael Bay, “Black Sails.” Series stars Zach McGowan, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Mark Ryan, Hakeem Kae-Kazim and series creators Jonathan Steinberg and Robert Levine to introduce the first episode which will be screened for fans only. SDCC 2013: Adventure Time & Regular Show Extravaganzas at Comic-Con

 

At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Cartoon Network will once again offer the ultimate fan experience both on and off the convention floor. Taking center stage is an Adventure Time themed booth on the convention floor showcasing the Ice King’s iconic castle with an exclusive fan-centric photo opportunity. Fans again have the opportunity to collect exclusive Comic-Con giveaways including five different Adventure Time buttons.

SDCC 2013: Adult Swim Announces Annual San Diego Comic-Con Invasion
