Magic, Myth and Monsters in Image's LOST FANTASY

Image Comics LOST FANTASY 001
Bestselling writer Curt Pires (Indigo Children) reteams with Money graphic novel co-collaborator artist Luca Casalanguida (James Bond) on Lost Fantasy, a new Image Comics ongoing comic book series launching this April.

In addition to this brand-new video-game inspired fantasy tale—which pays homage to the popular game Final Fantasy—the giant-sized Lost Fantasy comics will also feature a serialized backup story, Indigo Children: Exodus, that continues Pires’ hit sci-fi series Indigo Children.

Lost Fantasy explores an alternate history where a world of magic, myth, and monsters exists just beneath the surface of our own…and is threatening to break through. Fans of East of West and Something is Killing the Children will enjoy the monster-slaying historically-revisionist Lost Fantasy series, with the added bonus of a new Indigo Children mystery.

SDCC 2024: NEW Psylocke Series to be Announced at Comic-Con

Marvel Comics New Psylocke X-Men Comic Series Teaser
An all-new PSYLOCKE comic series launches this November. Stay tuned for the full announcement this Saturday at the Marvel Comics: X-Men: From The Ashes panel at San Diego Comic-Con! We'll be sure to post whatever releases and news drops in my email inbox, but remember, you can watch most of San Diego Comic-Con's panels online these days!! It's just like being there, minus the sweat smell, pushing, loudness, heartbreak of missing an exclusive, bad seats in a panel, no access to panel seats at all, a hotel 5 miles away, horrible heat, expensive food when you can find a table at a restaurant and Brian Posehn following you back to your room to tell you about his favorite robots. Yes, I miss it dearly.

We Thank You For Feeding Our Monkeys

Idle Hands was born from the ashes of hardcore toy news site Action-Figure.com, struck down before its time under the most ridiculous of circumstances. We always believed that all manner of pop culture news could co-exist on a front page together, providing a "Water Cooler Geek" feel. On any given day, we'll be discussing new video games, movies (both large and indie), books, comic books, toys, conventions, anime, music, TV and anything that triggers flash-backs in our cartoon loving, 80's idealizing brains.

Current Stats: As of 1/24/2025
16 Million Pageviews (all time)
12.9 Million Views on Youtube with 16k subscribers. Our top vid has over 2 million views
33 Million views on Flickr Galleries

Our ever-evolving crew lineup currently includes...

Paul "Nomad" Nicholasi - Editor/ Founder/ New York Area Operations/ Master Blaster:
20-year + toy industry veteran and eggshell blue belt in Gymkata, Paul was once described as a "robot who runs on alcohol" due to his ability to run a booth at a huge convention, being the first one on the floor in the morning and the last one off at night, then into 3 parties before getting some articles written up and mayyyybe a bit of sleep. As a partner on Action-Figure.com, he put twelve years of San Diego Comic-Con under his belt...which pretty much has him ready to handle anything...including powerful mid-Saturday barnyard convention smells.
Super Powers: Once shot 10 thousand pictures at SDCC. Puts out street lights while lamenting why Hasbro doesn't love him. Is sometimes invisible to automatic doors and faucets.
Interests: Marvel and DC Comics, Toy Hunting, Indie Movies, Anime, Video Games, Pizza and Ice Cream. Oh and Samurai Pizza Cats. That just makes sense.

Want to read my reviews? Dive in!  I did set visits for The Crazies, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Halloween 2 (Rob Zombie's) and some others if you feel like Googling. There's also close to 12 years of convention coverage on Flickr if you like that sorta stuff.

We are always looking for steady writers! Give a shout if you can write interesting sentences with limited editing needed....because loads of editing makes the editor cry. Also, be snarky.

**If you are a company or retailer that can provide us with tech to help create great content daily, we'd be highly appreciative and would be happy to reciprocate with advertisements, banner placements and mentions across social media! Be our sponsor and we'll love you forever! We are currently in need of the following::

Laptop (non MAC, good enough to crunch video)
High Capacity Portable Chargers
Updated Cell (currently rocking a Galaxy s10 averaging 2k pics a day at big events.)
Streaming Gear: Upgrade on our graphics card, camera, mic, monitors. Honestly, the computer has seen some things... A whole new rig would not be turned away.

**If any individual would like to donate us any of the gear above (or just donate a sum of money toward our cause), we will sing your praises at the bottom of articles and most likely tell stories about you that aren't true but are still funny.

FAQ

Will you review my thingy? - Maybe. Email Paul Nicholasi at the address up top and we'll see if it fits.

Will you support my KickstarterIndieGoGoGoFundMeGiveMeMoneys? - We always consider it, but it has to be really cool, really fun and again, fit in with our crowd.

Will you come cover our event? - If it fits and the date works and we have someone in the area, it's a strong possibility. Email Paul Nicholasi up top with details and we'll see if we can make it work. If it's too far away, flying us there is also a solution.

Can we advertise on your site? - We don't currently have a system set up for this, BUT, as you see, a few select friends are up on the right hand side, so we have a way to accommodate. We also occasionally accept sponsors for upcoming events, so get in touch with the Editor up top.

How do we send you news? - The "Got Tips" button on the front page will open an email box just for this purpose, or just email the Editor above.

I'm crushing your head... - I block. WE BATTLE!

There's an item in an article that is our property or contains knowledge we didn't want out there. How do we get that gone? - First and foremost, please know that the policy at Idle Hands is we will run anything that is made public. This includes sales sheets and catalogs (digital or paper) given to our people at events, pre-orders on websites across the globe, items we find on your website and anything displayed at an event we've been told is OK to report on and/or photograph. If we ran information/images of yours, it's been made public somewhere. We don't even know how to begin to be sneaksy. That said, we are more than reasonable and are happy to discuss the matter further. See the Editor up top.

Can we repost your news? - Yes, but please credit us. If you are grabbing pictures and info, please only grab half at the most of what we are showing/what you are after, and link back for the rest. We appreciate your interest and thank you for your cooperation!
