Mr Incredible..The Super Posable Action Figure!

Revoltech is the action figure line from Kaiyodo which utilizes a revolving joint system that clicks into place when it hits a point. This lets you pick a pose and have it stick until you shift it yourself...something you don't see in a lot of toys today. Other key features generally include extra hands, faces, key accessories, flight stand (for jumping or take off poses) and sometimes, creepy eyes you can position! Since Revoltech comes from Japan, the line has enjoyed many diverse licenses an American company would probably not be able to handle, or afford. Some time back, they put out a Woody figure from Toy Story that became an internet sensation with his rape facey charm. ( you have to click that link to get what I'm saying. no amount of explaining will do it justice.) NOW, Kaiyodo takes on the super family we've wanted new toys of for YEAAAARS!!

It's Mr. Incredible!!! This figure features fists and open hands, growling or smirking faces, eyes you can position, many many many points of articulation, a flight stand AND an Omnidroid to battle!! On the down side, the figure is 4.3 inches tall, making it taller than 3 and 3 quarter Marvel Universe and G.I. Joes but way smaller than 6 inch Marvel Legends and your DC Universe Classics. There's also the scale of the Omnidroid to take into consideration...because that roboguy is tiny. Then there's the nearly 40 dollar price tag. Yikes. IF you can get past all these minuses, you can own the very nearly ultimate Mr. Incredible action figure this February.

Revoltech Iron Man Is Born

For the newbs in the audience, Revoltech action figures are made by Japanese company Kaiyodo featuring a revolving click-joint system allowing for maximum posability in a figure somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 to 5 inches tall. Most come packed with extra hands, weapons and a stand to make this the coolest little sucker on your desk at work. Add to that licenses like Transformers, Aliens, Predator, Batman, Trigun, popular Manga titles and hot Anime girls and you can't go wrong. Now it seem Kaiyodo have snapped up a Marvel Movie license and are showing off their first piece - Iron Man Mark 6!! He'll come packed with 2 sets of hands, hand blasts, a flight stand with blast effect and a nameplate. No word yet if this is the start of a Revoltech Marvel Movie onslaught, much like we've been getting from Hot Toys, but the second there is more info, we'll be sure to report on it! To buy Revoltech figures, check in with your local comic shop...otherwise they are easily googlable online. Amazon even has their own exclusive line of mix and match figures!

Revoltech Rampage

The Revoltech figure line was a Japanese answer to the question "How can we make action figures MORE FUN and take it all to the next level?" The result was a revolving ball joint that clicks into place, helping your figure hold a pose and when mounted on a clear flight stand, you've got KUNG FU MADNESS!! So far the mad scientists at Kaiyodo have brought classic battling robots, DC Comics superheroes, predators, aliens, anime all stars, video game bad asses and even Transformers into the line. Now...they have made something I can't possibly pass up..and will probably be buying a solid dozen of since I've got a serious army builder problem. When you tell me I can army build Ray Harryhausen Skeleton Warriors from Jason and the Argonauts in a super posable action figure format...I fall over, then check my bank account. Check out the amazing...

From the cult classic to the classic creepy! Revoltech is all about details and apparently, there were far too many facial expression options for the new Woody action figure from Disney's Toy Story. Since a very large percentage of my readers are die hard perverts, I thought you'd enjoy these pics fans of the newest action figure whipped up to celebrate his awesomeness. Quake in fear. All credit to I Heart Chaos for the find. Hit them up for even more freaky action.

Now since Revoltech action figures are from across the water, your best bet for scoring your fix is Ebay or asking your friendly neighborhood comic shop owner to get some in for you.

Kaiyodo's Revoltech: The Perfect Toy For The Casual Collector

Kayiodo. Ever hear of them? If you weren't already a hardcore toy collector, probably not. Kaiyodo, among other things, make a figure line called REVOLTECH. What makes them unique is a revolving joint system that clicks into position to lock in a pose. Since most include a stand as well, kicking and flight poses are also possible! Do I even need to mention the extra hands and accessories? This makes Revoltech the perfect desk top toyline for the geek who just wants the occasional bad ass figure to mess around with.

In the past, they've made Fist of the North Star and Street Fighter pieces as well as countless anime additions, scores of robots and TRANSFORMERS!! Now, Kaiyodo seem to be veering into more licensing opportunities. Check out their new Alien piece with 15 working joints, a bendy tail, working inner mouth, alien egg and face hugger!

We are told they will also be putting out a Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman from Batman Begins, Gamera and a FREAKING T REX FROM JURASSIC PARK?!?! Amazing. I would email them to send me info as it develops, but the contact form on their site, as run through the babblefish translator offers such options as pighead coconut, coconut, wild goose gimlet or poppy growth. ...Decisions.
