Hanna Barbera Studios Europe has begun development on Hit Squad, a new adult animated series inspired by the work of visionary British producer Gerry Anderson. The series is developed in close partnership with Anderson Entertainment, led by Gerry’s son Jamie Anderson, who will serve as an executive producer on the project. Gerry Anderson was a visionary British creator, producer, and director whose groundbreaking work redefined science fiction and family entertainment. From Thunderbirds and Stingray to Captain Scarlet and Space: 1999, his inventive storytelling, pioneering special effects, and iconic “Supermarionation” technique left an indelible mark on global popular culture and continue to captivate audiences worldwide.
