Toy Fair 2022: A Whole New Huggable Jurassic World
Our friends at Posh Paws were set up across the pond at UK Toy Fair last week, showing off all that's soft and fuzzy in their world. Among this year's offerings were a killer line of Dream Works plush from movies like Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, and Kung Fu Panda, a mighty Minion march, a trip down to Sesame Street, and our favorite series that turns monsters into bedtime buddies... Jurassic World! Posh Paws renders the terrifying jaws and slashing claws of the JW Dinos into kid-friendly piles of fluff in a number of scales to suit the needs of any Reptar wrangler. Let's take a look!

New Jurassic World Toys On the Way
Remember the abject fear? Mattel owns the Jurassic Park licence now...WHAT WILL THEY DO WITH IT??!! Many said the obvious.. "Hell, they can't do worse!" Expectations were set extremely low. Mattel walked into the room with flashback Jurassic Park characters alongside Jurassic World characters that all kinda resembled who they were supposed to resemble, in a great, unified scale with a literal PILE of dinosaurs and one MASSIVE TRex leading the pack, made large enough to swallow the little dinos whole. Amazing. Now, Mattel thinks you've had enough time to recover, so get ready for a second round of dino madness...

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Reviewed
by Ben Urich
So let’s just start with the fact that I have long been a fan of anything to do with the JURASSIC franchises. I read the original books years ago, have read all the comics, and seen all of the films; so whenever there’s a new film in the franchise, I always look forward to its release. The newest installment FALLEN KINGDOM was no exception. Although I must admit that my standards for these movies have dropped over the years, and I really just go to see the dinosaurs on the big screen and, of course, the ensuing carnage.

Doctor Who, Portal 2, Simpsons & More Coming to Lego Dimensions
By Ryan Acheson
It seems like only yesterday we introduced LEGO Dimensions! It’s essentially the LEGO Company and Warner Brothers Interactive’s take on the whole Skylanders / Disney Infinity game and toy concept, coming to all the major consoles late this Summer. One of the things that seems to set Lego Dimensions apart is that instead of using what amounts to little plastic statues, it uses actual Lego minifigures and mini builds that you can take off their stands and take apart and rebuild any way you want. Even though that won’t affect how the characters and vehicles and items show up in game, in my eyes that adds a bit more value to the shelf loads of ‘stuff’ this game is going to be cluttering up your toy and video game stores with in the near future.

Hasbro's Playskool Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rex
As we inch closer to Jurassic World's June 12th release date, eagle eyed toy junkies are ever vigilant for the first appearances of the toy line on shelves...which really should be invading any day now! First strike goes to Hasbro's Playskool Heroes line, which is fitting since this is one of the first toys we found awesome pics of round Toy Fair time. The Playskool Heroes Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rex features a near-neon green paint job with those tell tail chunky features we love in lil' kid toys! Push his head forward and the TRex leans down to take a bite out of whatever is in front of him, complete with glowing eyes and a rather unsettling crunchy-chewy sound effect. Pleanty of disturbing play value for your tiny growing predator. Dive in for a bunch of pics and some vid of that super sweet munchy action!

Jurassic World Gears Up For Dino vs Human WAR with Trailers, LEGO & Video Games
June 12th can't get here quick enough. It's an odd thing...no matter how cheesy a Jurassic Park movie looks, I still want to see it..so so badly! Few people can deny their love of dinosaurs, as evidenced this past weekend as I set up shop at a local flea market to unload some toys and witnessed a woman emotionally bond with a JP Raptor I had just scored at a Good Will store. She picked it up..gave it a pat, worked his little chomping action and then proceeded to hug it out as she asked how much it was. To her credit, she still tried to talk me down in price!! THIS is the love people are feeling for Jurassic World and why, most likely, we are looking at a colossal box office opening weekend. Until that awesome day arrives...we've got a new trailer!

Toy Fair 2015: Hasbro's -almost- Full Jurassic World Toy Lineup
One week til Toy Fair 2015 takes over New York City...or at least a little sliver of it! As such, and as per usual, the reveals are coming fast and furious now. Case in point, our UK buddy who dropped the infamous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie descriptions on us checked in with a small pile of dinosaurs ready to chew up the patrons of a certain park that refuses to say closed...despite previous instances of chewing. Jurassic World is poised to be a powerhouse at the theater box offices and Hasbro is hoping to grab a bit of that frenzy with their superb line of dinosaurs packed with enough battle scars, roaring noises and chomping action to send your G.I. Joes scrambling for cover.

Toy Fair 2015: More Jurassic World Toy Details
Not to beat this one topic into the ground, but we are working round the clock (on this and other jobs), getting all the pics from UK Toy Fair 2015 edited and..well..this one is a quicky! We've got some new details on the toy lineups for Jurassic World and since those fans are the loudest, and the re-tweetiest...and ask very nicely, we are happy to dive in and get whatever we can. As is the way of our people, I will now shout SPOILER WARNING as there's a certain dino described with a very interesting talent...

Toy Fair 2015: Hasbro Banking On Jurassic World & Avengers: Age of Ultron
We've just barely set foot into 2015 and Hasbro is already barreling head long into their marketing campaigns for 2 toy lines representing 2 of the biggest films of the year. Actually, Hasbro's master plan started back in October with the first reveals of the Avengers: Age of Ultron toys (which we gave you a taste of HERE). Actually actually..Hasbro hasn't started their marketing for Jurassic World at all...they are just leaking...from every boat they've got it seems. As the dinosaur images creep out across the globe, eagle eyed websites pick up the meager scraps and run with it, feeding a fandom that always seems insatiable...and is only really visible (to an outsider) when the news starts to fall like rain. That's when you realize how many Jurassic Park maniacs there are out there! It's the same with My Little Pony..and Power Rangers. That's got to be my favorite part of Toy Fair time...watching all these fans come out of the woodwork to eat up every ounce of coverage as fast as we can post it. ANYWAYYYS...let's check out some upcoming Avengers and Jurassic World toys, shall we? Yes, have some!

Toy Fair 2015: Playskool Cutifies Jurassic World, Marvel Comics & Transformers
Let's face it...kids these days get all the fun toys. No trip to any store with a toy isle would be complete without a stroll down the Imaginext stacks....because that stuff...is awesome. Today, we'll check out a whole pile of Playskool Heroes toys featuring Marvel Comics and Transformers characters, and one mean but adorable looking T-Rex! We'll also check out the latest from our favorite spud, Mr. Potato Head, who is, as ever, the master of disguise.
Let's kick things off with a lone Jurassic World Playskool toy that just dropped into my email. The Tyrannosaurus Rex features lights and sounds...and surely a chomping action or else why bother, right? It also comes with a little hipster handler ready to lead him around and teach him about all the indie bands no one knows about. Actually..he kinda looks like Heisenberg. Take that, you fun-ruining mommies. HEISENBERG GOT A NEW JOB!!
