Seismic Toys in collaboration with Gums Productions, has announced a brand new partnership with the legendary Tezuka Productions to produce officially licensed Astro Boy figurines, available for pre-order right now. The figures mix Tezuka’s iconic Astro Boy with halloween-themed monsters for a unique blend of sci-fi, horror, and cuteness.

“Astro Boy is such an important piece of Japanese pop culture,” explains Seismic CCO Alex Rushdy. “We’ve built something totally unprecedented, mixing famous western monsters like werewolves and vampires with the classic Japanese brand. Toy Fair 2025: TOTYM Debuts Creepy/Cute Monster Plush Line

The Penultimate Issue of ULTRAMEGA by James Harren

Today Skybound and Image Comics unveiled a first look at interior pages and variant covers from Ultramega #8, the penultimate chapter of the Eisner Award-nominated series. From creator, writer, and artist James Harren (BPRD, Rumble) and colorist Dave Stewart (Hellboy, Universal Monsters: Creature from the Black Lagoon Lives!), the all-new issue will be available at comic book shops on March 5, 2025.

KOLCHAK Faces Off Against Classic Monsters

Throughout the course of the fan-favorite 1970s TV show, legendary reporter Carl Kolchak went toe-to-toe with all manner of otherworldly fiends. Now, he will take on his most fearsome foes yet — Dracula, Frankenstein and the Werewolf! Monstrous Books presents a three-issue series of stand-alone comics as well as a deluxe hardcover collection from an all-star lineup of creators coming to Kickstarter this October. 

Actor and Writer David Dastmalchian (Count Crowley) will team-up with Count Crowley artist Lukas Ketner, and colorist Zac Atkinson, for a Kolchak - Count Crowley 22-page comic book crossover in “Kolchak Meets the Werewolf and Count Crowley,” featuring a cover by Ketner and a variant from superstar artist Matt Wagner (Grendel). Rodney Barnes (Killadelphia) will be writing a 22-page comic book thriller titled “Kolchak Meets Dracula,” with art by Eisner-award nominated artist Alex Lins (Plastic Man No More) with a cover by Colton Worley (Jennifer Blood). And Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) will be collaborating with artist George Quadros (Avatar: The High Ground), and colorist Zac Atkinson on a 22-page comic book called “Kolchak Meets Frankenstein” with a cover from Russ Braun (The Boys). Monstrous Book will publish a deluxe, hardcover edition of KOLCHAK MEETS THE CLASSIC MONSTERS, featuring all three stories and an all-new cover by Dave Acosta (Elvira, Terrorwar).

Poppy Playtime Triple Pack Multiplies The Terror

CURSED WATERS Goes Diving With Lake Monsters

Cryptid investigator Eli Watson and Small Town Monsters head north of the border for a new documentary on one of the most intriguing monster legends of all time - the creature known as Ogopogo. Watson and his team have emerged from the murky depths with Cursed Waters: Creature of Lake Okanaga, featuring newly-shot compelling footage that supports the legends of monsters living in the deep.

Survival Game ONCE HUMAN Releases Today on PC

NetEase Games, the online games division of NetEase, Inc.
