First "Play Acclaim Showcase" to Take Place Tomorrow - September 10

Tomorrow, Acclaim is back. Not as a reboot, but a rebirth for the iconic publisher that dominated players’ living rooms for more than two decades. Acclaim's first “Play Acclaim” showcase will take place on the official Acclaim YouTube channel on September 10th at 2:30PM ET/11:30AM PT.

AMC Unveils Exhilarating Opening Minutes of "Dark Winds" Season 3

AMC Networks today released the chilling first five minutes of the premiere episode of Dark Winds Season 3, giving fans a glimpse at the new threat facing Lt. Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) in the highly anticipated season. The critically acclaimed noir drama series stars McClarnon (The Son, Westworld, Fargo), Kiowa Gordon (The Red Road, Roswell, New Mexico), Jessica Matten (Rez Ball, Tribal, Burden of Truth) and Deanna Allison (Accused, Edge of America). 

New Cyberpunk 2077 Featurettes

CD PROJEKT RED has unveiled three featurettes centered around the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. The videos focus on the life paths, weaponry, and music of the game, and were all featured on the second episode of Night City Wire.

The Lifepaths featurette takes an in-depth look at the different backstories players will be able to choose for V — the main character of Cyberpunk 2077. Each path provides a distinct introduction to Night City and influences V’s experiences throughout the game.

New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Footage

Today, Instagram announced that - in addition to square posts - you can now share photos and videos in both portrait and landscape orientation on their platform. With this update, Instagram users can upload widescreen video which will be more cinematic than ever. 

This morning, @StarWars released an exclusive look at their upcoming film, The Force Awakens, using Instagram’s new landscape orientation. As part of this collaboration, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the very first video content to be showcased in this new format for the Instagram community.

Falling Skies: Season 4 Preview

In a world where aliens have come to take control of the planet and either enslave or destroy the populace, a relatively quiet walk across the country side where nothing is on fire can be taken for granted! Of course, the fires are lovely in the crisp winter months. The theme of "Falling Skies" season 4 seems to be evolution. The show adopts the "several stories happening concurrently" model that has proven so successful with "The Walking Dead" and "Game of Thrones". This allows for maximum storytelling with minimum time (most likely another 10 episode season).

We flash forward several months very quickly. From here on in, it's going to be very difficult to give details without spoiling the whole set-up, so I'll be careful not to mention much beyond the imagery you've glimpsed in the trailers! Just be warned, there will be some mild spoilers ahead.

Extended Preview of Star Trek: Into Darkness Coming to IMAX

It's START TREK DAY!!!  Not really..but two Trek articles in one day is utter madness.

Paramount Pictures will release the first 9 minutes from J.J. Abrams’ eagerly-awaited “STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS” exclusively in IMAX 3D months prior to the film’s official release in May 2013.  This first-look at the movie will play in approximately 500 digital IMAX 3D theaters beginning December 14th.
