The True Adventures of Wolfboy

Vertical Entertainment presents The True Advenures of Wolfboy, starring Jaeden Martell (Knives Out), Sophie Giannamore (The L Word Generation Q), Chris Messina (Away We Go),  Eve Hewson (Bridge of Spies) and Golden Globe Nominee John Turturro (The Night Of), who also serves as an executive producer. The film is the feature directorial debut of Czech-born filmmaker Martin Krejci and premiered at Karlovy Vary Film Festival last year and went on to play at Fantastic Fest. Vertical will release on-demand and digital release on October 30th. 

Paul lives an isolated life with his father in upstate New York. He finds making friends impossible due to a rare condition he has known as congenital hypertrichosis - an affliction that causes an abnormal amount of hair growth all over his face and body. On his 13th birthday, Paul receives a mysterious gift that compels him to run away and seek out the mother he has never known.

Jacob's Ladder Re-Imagined for 2019

I've seen loads of horror movies, and this being fairly common knowledge, I'm often asked what horror movies actually stick with me after the lights come up. Jacob's Ladder was one of those films. As I exited the theater, a mournful wind blew debris down the city street, upending cans that clanked against concrete. The darkness was just a bit darker, and I could tell I'd be mulling over this film's content for years to come. If those shuddering faces didn't get under your skin, I'm not sure anything will bother you! Now we flash forward to 2019 and Vertical Entertainment's Jacob's Ladder is nearing its August 23rd release date...and honestly...I have NO idea what to expect...
