It's an amazing time to be an adult toy collector, with new indie companies popping up daily to present us with creatures we used to draw with crayons and boundless imagination. It takes a lot of hard work and determination to get from concept to completion, even for the huge toy makers, so for the little guys, we must support all we can, and empty our wallets. 

I ran across Haxan in my timeline on a social media platform that hasn't paid me to mention them, showing off a demon action figure that looks like it was torn from the pages of a dusty old folklore tome with yellowed pages and 100 other allergens. I dropped an email expressing my appreciation for their work and they very quickly sent over the info and images I'll share with you now. Synapse Films Announces Demons and Demons 2 on 4K and Blu-ray

On August 13th, Synapse Films brings Lamberto Bava’s supernatural horror epics Demons and Demons 2 to 4K UHD and Blu-ray.  

In Demons, the trouble starts when a mysterious figure hands out free tickets to see a new horror film. One by one, the audience enters the movie theater - intrigued by both the figure, his visage covered by a mask, and the new unseen horror film about to premiere. Before you know it, the horror from the film becomes a reality as the audience is turned into flesh-craving demons, hellbent on destroying everything in their path. Bava’s masterpiece – known for its’ amazing gore effects and propulsive rock and metal infused score featuring Billy Idol, The Scorpions, Mötley Crüe and more – can now be seen like never before in two versions of the film: the full-length original cut in English and Italian, and the shorter U.S. version featuring alternate dubbing and sound effects.

Toy Fair 2022: Four Horsemen's Mythic Legions March On

Since this year's Toy Fair 2022 coverage has been scooped up from points all over the planet, it's only fitting that we caught up with The Four Horsemen at Zolocon in Buck's County, PA, taking place in a decommissioned naval testing facility called "The Fuge"! Nestled up against that very centrifuge at the heart of this mamoth facility, the mighty mighty 4H dished out their highly sought after Mythic Legions action figures to a rabid crowd of fans who qued up the second the doors opened. After grabbing a ghostly soldier that glows in the dark and a skeleton warrior for my own plastic legions at home, I was introduced to the newest monsters and medieval men who are sure to have collectors working their fingers together in a Mr.Burns-like fashion.

Jacob's Ladder Re-Imagined for 2019

I've seen loads of horror movies, and this being fairly common knowledge, I'm often asked what horror movies actually stick with me after the lights come up. Jacob's Ladder was one of those films. As I exited the theater, a mournful wind blew debris down the city street, upending cans that clanked against concrete. The darkness was just a bit darker, and I could tell I'd be mulling over this film's content for years to come. If those shuddering faces didn't get under your skin, I'm not sure anything will bother you! Now we flash forward to 2019 and Vertical Entertainment's Jacob's Ladder is nearing its August 23rd release date...and honestly...I have NO idea what to expect...

STARZ released a new teaser trailer and photo today for the highly anticipated 10-episode second season of the half-hour series executive produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell, Ivan Raimi, and Craig DiGregorio who serves as executive producer and showrunner.

The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.

Capcom Reveals the Details of Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition

Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition is currently in development for PC, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and will be available to purchase as a digital download in Summer 2015.
