Remastered Wonder Woman: The Complete Collection Coming July 28
Wonder Woman, the beloved 1970s live-action television series starring Lynda Carter, has been remastered and is coming to Blu-ray™! Wonder Woman: The Complete Collection arrives from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on July 28, 2020.
Save the world? That’s a man’s job. Then along comes star-spangled Wonder Woman with her bullet-deflecting bracelets and golden lariat to set everyone straight. With Lynda Carter staring as the title character, Season One features adventures in Wonder Woman’s original World War II era, while Seasons Two and Three whoosh forward to the disco-loving ‘70s. Times change. The need to smash evil, calamity and injustice does not.

SDCC 2017: The Justice League Comic-Con Trailer & The Return of Superman
The battle between DC Comics films and Marvel Studios movies rages on. Lately, Warner Bros have been shifting their trailers around, hoping to build on the success of Wonder Woman, oddly, without showing more Wonder Woman in their Justice League trailers.... AND IT'S WORKING...inch by inch. Despite troubles surrounding their next Batman movie release, it's getting to the point where Batman V Superman is just something we don't talk about and the name MARTHA shall not cross the lips of hopeful DC loyalists. Stands to reason WB would want to put out a strong Justice League trailer for Comic-Con...and they did just that!

The full name of the attraction is JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis, and it opens this Saturday! This all sounds well and good, but the most important question is WHEN CAN WE GET COSPLAYERS IN FRONT OF THIS MASTERPIECE??!!

A New Wonder Woman Trailers Charges Into Battle
Warner Brothers drops a brand new trailer for Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, based on the iconic DC Comics character and set in the DC Cinematic Universe forged by Zach Snyder and company with the films Superman: Man of Steel, Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and their latest release Suicide Squad! The newest trailer for Wonder Woman doesn't move very far from our last glimpse into this world. The vistas are still breathtaking, the banter is snappy when called for and the action sequence slow motion is extra slow-motiony!

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Reviewed
Growing up with Superman as our iconic movie hero was an awesome thing. He had charisma, confidence, was straight laced enough to be taken seriously but good humored enough to be funny without begging for laughs. When Superman Returns was released, it was clear the film makers were trying to recapture some of that magic, but those wacky nuances of 70's/80's film are a product of their time and reproducing them in modern times, when completely serious about their impact, is a recipe for disaster. The result was not terrible, but fans could agree it was...odd. As if in answer to that riddle came Man of Steel. If the zany adventures of everyone around the original Superman were a product of the era, then Man of Steel should introduce a Superman who is at once an awe inspiring powerhouse and raw, emotional being struggling with his own morals and just looking for acceptance. It took me more than a couple of viewings to come to an understanding with Man of Steel, and while I've developed an appreciation for the first half of the film and the frail humanity of the character, the Superman I'd come to appreciate through comics and cartoons lived in a sunnier world. The symbol of hope on his chest rang true in Clark Kent's eternally positive disposition, even as comical counterpoint to Lois Lane's sarcastic view of...well...everything. In the face of adversity, Superman would find a way to protect humanity and prevail...and be damn near polite about the whole ordeal. It's a happy world, albeit constantly under siege from alien invaders, mad scientists and your occasional powered up baddie feeling brave enough to step up to an insanely powerful force for good.

New Art from WB's Dawn of the Justice League TV Special
Did you know there was a Dawn of the Justice League TV Special happening tonight? NEITHER DID I!! Apparently there will be previews of the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, the Wonder Woman movie, and a brand new Suicide Squad trailer ...so says Kevin Smith, the world's newest celeb geek reporter and host of this event. Tune in to the CW tonight at 9:30 (eastern) where ALL WILL REVEALED!! Not really..but maybe some little bits will be revealed, and the numbers will prove to WB they should have greenlit a Wonder Woman movie a long time ago.
Check the new art to the left, revealing Cyborg and Flash alongside Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman. Now we just need a look at Green Lantern...

Jakks Pacific Scales Up With Batman V Superman
JAKKS Pacifics line of "Big-Figs" took consumers by surprise some years back. While most companies were shrinking down to 3.75 inch size and cutting back on articulation and paints to drop their price point and maximize their peg space in retail stores, JAKKS went....TOTALLY in the other direction, but with similar thoughts in mind. Their line of large scale figures may be light on paint applications, but you can't deny the level if detail they bring in at that scale..or the fun of a MASSIVE figure of your favorite pop culture icon..or the super low price! Now JAKKS tackles the long awaited Batman V Superman feaure film from Warner Bros and upon first glance, I'd say they are going to be putting out some of the best stuff on the market.

DC Comics Girls Makeup Packs
Mark another product line into your "stealth release" logs. Wandering into Five Below always reveals a multitude of pop culture products...some I've seen before and am now ecstatic to find at deep discount...and some I've never seen before and wondered how the initial release slipped past me and allllll the geeks I know...because that's a pretty long list! You see, by the time an item reaches Five Below, we can assume it has enjoyed a wide release with as much or as little fanfare as the manufacturer will allow, then several month languishing on the pegs before the remainder is closed out to our discounty friends. After a bit of research, we discovered this DC Comics Girls line of nail polish, lip ka-balms, lip gloss and press on nails turned up in Walmart as far back as September (or at least that's where it was spotted by Nouveau Cheap Blogspot). Now, in their new home at Five Below, thrifty super women and young ladies can enjoy the line at three dollars a pop.

DC Comics Block Figures Sneak Onto Toy Shelves
It's rare these days that a licensed product could slip into retail stores without rabid fans of said license freaking out about it and blowing up the internet. With that in mind, I was shocked to find few people had known Underoos had made a fairly silent come back when we ventured into the heart of darkness (AKA Hot Topic...which is a dark store..not being funny!) and shot those pics of He-Man, Wonder Woman and Captain America skivies. That was a very short time ago, but now we are constantly wondering what other licensed merch might be sneaking around out there just waiting to be discovered. It wasn't long before we found more fun stuff!
