Last Action Hero Debuts on 4K Ultra HD on May 18th

Last Action Hero Debuts on 4K Ultra HD on May 18th

Young Danny Madigan (Austin O'Brien) is a lonely 11-year-old boy who escapes from his bleak reality by watching the action adventure movies of his favorite film character, Jack Slater (Arnold Schwarzenegger). When his best friend, Nick the projectionist, gives him a special ticket to the new Slater film, Danny is magically transported into Jack's world, where the good guys always win. Danny becomes his helper as Jack battles a trio of nefarious bad guys, Benedict (Charles Dance), Vivaldi (Anthony Quinn) and The Ripper (Tom Noonan). But things get out of hand when Benedict steals Danny's magic ticket stub and transports himself into the real world, where crime can, and often does, pay. Jack and Danny must leave fictional Los Angeles for real-life New York and battle the villains without the aid of movie magic or stuntmen.

Pop Culture Shock's Conan the Barbarian 1:3 Scale Statue

Between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities, and the years of the rise of the Sons of Aryas was the Hyborian Age. The Vanished Age. The Age of Conan.

Pop Culture Shock Collectibles is proud to present their first piece of Robert E. Howard’s battleborn Barbarian, the greatest of the Cimmerians, Conan, as depicted by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the role that launched his career.

Sarah and Robots and Guardians and Terminators

July 1st sees the return of the Humans vs Skynet war to the big screen and with it, a whole new set of rules for the Terminator movie mythos. With James Cameron vowing that THIS is the REAL Terminator 3 (really..for real this time....forget 4 happened at all) and Arnold Schwarzenegger promising awesome times for all, it's up to us to admit the sorry truth. We were always going to see this movie. We may not be psyched..or shivering with antici....pation....but we will watch the damn thing... because we must. Paramount's newest featurette gives the faintest glimpse into the deep relationship between Sarah and her Terminator father-figure. Resistance is futile.

Terminator: Genisys Trailer & Poster Premiere

So...WHOOOOO was betting they were going to pull a Star Trek and poison the timeline to rewrite the whole story line? Not me! Paramount unleashed their full length trailer for Terminator: Genisys today and my feelings are...mixed. No chills..no reall OO or AHH! moments. I'm still hopeful this one will pack in the fun left behind in the last instalment, which seemed to be big on explosions and chaos and light on the "thrill ride". Will I see it? Hell yea...so I guess any point I make for or against is invalid! Jump on in for the eye candy...

The Terminator: Genisys Trailer Arrives This Thursday: Teaser is LIVE

Are you psyched for it for fun with endoskeletons in a dark, post apocalyptic future we seemingly have no hope of escaping??? Maybe a little? Yeaaa...at least a little. We know that last installment was chock full of men howling toward the night sky and not much else in the way of content, but you can't deny the action was absolutely up to snuff. That said, we've got high hopes for Terminator: Genisys..with or without the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger's now legendary robot alter ego (but he's in it so..it's with..so prepare yourself). Paramount is counting down the seconds til this Thursday's trailer release and has sent over a sweet lil motion poster to tide you over...

Arnold Schwarzenegger Takes Requests

Sylvester Stallone may have caught flack for charging over 300 dollars an autograph at New York Comic Con 2013 (I'm sure he is crying into his hundreds as we speak), but that doesn't mean all iconic action stars are ready to follow suit. I'm hoping the future contains a lot more moments like these. Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Reddit to take requests for people's favorite movie lines, which he very seriously recreated and posted on YouTube. I'm not sure how many he's going to do as the bit isn't obviously marked over on Reddit, but the "If It Bleeds" clip is the first to hit...although it isn't the first quote Arnold has thrown at the interweb. I think I'm starting to love this guy again. We've included several more ArnoldTV bits...because it's Friday...and no one wants to really get work done today anyways.

Lionsgate Into 2013

It's the holidays and folks are scampering about, screaming at each other over stolen parking spaces, sale prices that aren't ringing up at the register while 50 angry shoppers wait impatiently in the shadows and that very last Cabbage Patch Kid that was really mine even though that woman with the three kids said it was hers and then she fell down. So I took it. Mine. Along with the Holidays comes prayer to our volcano gods and a look into the year to come. It's magical. Here's Lionsgate's lineup!

Meet The GOVERNATOR!!

He's got Captain Planet animation looks, Iron Man's arsenal and a healthy dose of M.A.S.K thrown in for good measure, just to make sure a good cross section of your cartoon youth has been pillaged. He's THE GOVERNATOR...and if this cartoon is actually good, I just might fucking die.

Seriously does anyone expect this to be anything less than a trainwreck we are hoping will be hysterical, at the very least? It takes the combo of Stan Lee AND Arnold Schearzenegger to come up with something this ridiculous and ACTUALLY GET IT MADE. Here's the skinny...

When Governor Schwarzenegger returns to Hollywood and finds a whole new genre of super-villains confronting the world, he decides to become the #1 superhero he’s always played in the movies...only this time, it’s for real! He assembles a team of awesomely brilliant teens to build him a secret lair full of state-of-the-art vehicles, crime-fighting gear, and lots of cool gadgets in this new animated action-comedy series. Arnold is Back! as The Governator, the superhero for the 21st century!

Lots of cool gadgets. Oh. Yea. Let's watch.
