Michael C. Hall as Daredevil?
Dexter as Daredevil. I like it! This one is, as yet, unconfirmed by official sources, but the rumor mill is churning and folks are buzzing about Michael C. Hall being considered for the role of Matt Murdock, the Man Without Fear for the upcoming Netflix series. We cobbled together a picture to see if Hall has what it takes to play the blind lawyer from Hell's Kitchen by day, masked crime fighter by night. What do you think?

The First Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Teaser is HERE
Many things have lead up to this moment. Most of them involved us getting yelled at. Since the announcement of the Bay-tacular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 film, we've been told they are aliens..and then not. They've got beaks..and then not. It would star Megan Fox as April O'Neil....and then it did, and a lot of you threw a tantrum usually reserved for Hasbro not making the Marvel Legends they had promised. Now, after half a dozen leaks, and half a dozen more which we will call "leaks", we have seen the turtles and are for the most part, satisfied that their visage won't anger us and murder our childhood...so it's TIME FOR A TEASER!!!

The Toys R Us "Transformation" Strategy
And no..this has nothing to do with the new Transformers movie, which is totally what I thought when I first saw it...so you're in good company. For collectors, Toys R Us, the last survivor of the brick and mortar toy retailer wars, continues to be a constant source of frustration. Sold out items, frequent price bumps and few discounts make most trips disappointing, and certainly don't encourage one to revisit often. TRU is looking to change that...

Edge of Tomorrow's Official Trailer
Seems like we've been waiting forever for this one! It's a little Vanilla Sky...little Gears of War..little Matrixy...and if it strikes the right tone, I'm going to gush all over it. When Scifi is done in an intelligent way with humor and heart, you can't help but win.
The epic action of "Edge of Tomorrow" unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world.
Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop—forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again...and again.

Dexter’s Laboratory Returns at IDW
Through a partnership with Cartoon Network Enterprises, IDW Publishing has set about giving new life to the most beloved cartoons of the past two decades. Starting with Samurai Jack, The Powerpuff Girls, and Ben 10, the next Cartoon Network classic to join the acclaimed lineup is none other than Dexter’s Laboratory!
Created by Genndy Tartakovsky, Dexter’s Laboratory followed the adventures of a young genius savant whose brilliant inventions were tucked deep down in a secret laboratory away from his oblivious parents… but not his sabotaging sister. Facing off against rogue creations, arch nemeses, and his sister’s meddling, Dexter’s Laboratory was one of the most successful original cartoons on Cartoon Network.

The First Hercules Teaser Trailer
Ignore the vintage 80's title font. Ignore the silly shout at the end of the trailer. Ignore how odd The Rock looks with a beard. Just be happy there are actually MONSTERS in this particular Hercules film, unlike the last one, which looked like a young adult romance mixed with Gladiator. Of course, I'm not speaking from experience, not being a fan of YA films (ignore my forced Twilight reviews) and NOT having seen the previous film. Just making that clear. That is blind dislike, and I own it. For this particular Paramount picture, I have medium sized hopes. I do enjoy watching The Rock thump things...and I do enjoy monsters..but I also have flashbacks of the vacuous "Clash of the Titans" remake and the film marker's disdain for the cinematic magic that came before (ie; my Harryhausen youth) ..so I am hesitant. Cautious...and hesitant.

Jodorowsky's Dune Reviewed
With maniacal insight from Heather Buckley
“…If
I need to cut my arms in order to make that picture, I will cut my
arms. I'm even ready to die doing that.”— Alejandro Jodorowsky
Star
Wars. Alien. Blade Runner. Arguably the three most influential
science fiction genre movies of the past thirty years, and they all
were made possible by a single grand abandonment.

Adult Swim Renews Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell for Second Season
Adult Swim announced today the season two pickup of the original live-action workplace comedy Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell about Gary, an associate demon, as he attempts to capture souls on earth in order to climb the corporate ladder of the underworld. The show stars Matt Servitto (Banshee, The Sopranos) as “Satan,” Henry Zebrowski (Wolf of Wall Street) as “Gary,” and Craig Rowin (Night of Too Many Stars, @Midnight) as “Claude.”
Gary is too stupid, lazy, and kind-hearted to do his job well and is frequently stabbed in the back by his devious coworker, Claude. Plus, his boss Satan is immortal which means that management positions are unlikely to become available soon. There is low turnover in Hell. In season two, Gary learns how to appear on peoples’ shoulders to tempt them, we meet our first angel, and we find the answer to the question if there are women in Hell. (Yes.)
