“When the good folks at IDW asked about the possibility of a special 'Death of Godzilla' cover that would play off the iconic cover that Brett Breeding and I did for Superman #75, I was definitely up for it,” remarked Jurgens. ”I’ve always been a fan of the big guy but hadn’t had a chance to draw him so this was the perfect way to scratch that itch. It was great fun to be able to contribute!”
Seismic Toys in collaboration with Gums Productions, has announced a brand new partnership with the legendary Tezuka Productions to produce officially licensed Astro Boy figurines, available for pre-order right now. The figures mix Tezuka’s iconic Astro Boy with halloween-themed monsters for a unique blend of sci-fi, horror, and cuteness.

Rodney Barnes (Killadelphia) will be writing a 22-page comic book thriller titled “Kolchak Meets Dracula,” with art by Eisner-award nominated artist Alex Lins (Plastic Man No More) with a cover by Colton Worley (Jennifer Blood). And Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) will be collaborating with artist George Quadros (Avatar: The High Ground), and colorist Zac Atkinson on a 22-page comic book called “Kolchak Meets Frankenstein” with a cover from Russ Braun (The Boys). Monstrous Book will publish a deluxe, hardcover edition of KOLCHAK MEETS THE CLASSIC MONSTERS, featuring all three stories and an all-new cover by Dave Acosta (Elvira, Terrorwar).
