In PUPPET MASTER: THE LITTLEST REICH, Edgar (Thomas Lennon), recently divorced, returns to his childhood home to where he finds a nefarious looking puppet in his deceased brother’s room. He decides to sell the doll for some quick cash at a small-town convention celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the infamous Toulon Murders. All hell breaks loose when a strange force animates the puppets at the convention, setting them on a bloody killing spree that’s motivated by an evil as old as time

The film made its World Premiere earlier this year at the Overlook Film Festival and will be released in theaters and on VOD and Digital HD on August 17th.

Nickelodeon Launching Virtual & Augmented Reality TV Series

Nickelodeon today announced the development of Meet the Voxels (working title), an original TV, virtual reality and augmented reality series conceived by Chris Young, Senior Vice President of Nickelodeon’s Entertainment Lab. The animated sitcom, created in a game engine, marks a first for Nickelodeon in its use of cutting-edge virtual cinema technology, including real-time full body and facial performance capture, bringing an innovative approach to immersive storytelling. Nickelodeon’s Entertainment Lab is the network’s division established to spearhead long-range research and development around emerging platforms and new technology. Meet the Voxels is being developed to air across Nickelodeon’s channels globally.

Avengers: Infinity War on 4K & Blu-ray Aug 14th

Star Wars: Episode IX Cast Announced with Fisher and Hamill

Star Wars: Episode IX will begin filming at London’s Pinewood Studios on August 1, 2018. J.J. Abrams returns to direct the final installment of the Skywalker saga. Abrams co-wrote the screenplay with Chris Terrio.

Returning cast members include Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, and Billie Lourd. Joining the cast of Episode IX are Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant, who will be joined by veteran Star Wars actors Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams, who will reprise his role as Lando Calrissian.

Dark Horse Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Hellboy

In 1993, legendary comic book creator Mike Mignola’s most famous creation, Hellboy, first appeared in a four page, black and white story in San Diego Comic-Con Comics #2, months ahead of his full issue comic book debut in Hellboy: Seed of Destruction. Co-published by Dark Horse Comics, this story introduced one of the most beloved comic book characters in history and launched what would become known as the Mignolaverse — the strange, shared universe of comic books and graphic novels, comprised of acclaimed titles including Hellboy and the B.P.R.D., Abe Sapien, B.P.R.D., Frankenstein Underground, Lobster Johnson, The Visitor: How and Why He Stayed and Witchfinder. 25 years later, Mignola returned as a Special Guest to San Diego Comic-Con International, where the convention celebrated the anniversary of that first 4-page story by including the historic story in their 2018 Souvenir Book. The story, which previously had been published with colors by acclaimed colorist Matt Hollingsworth, is now colored by Eisner Award-winning colorist and longtime Mignola collaborator Dave Stewart and appeared alongside an all new interview with Mignola and Jed W. Cryptozoic Bringing Games from Rick and Morty, DC Comics & More to Gencon 2018

Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of board games, trading cards, and physical and digital collectibles, today announced that it will showcase current and upcoming games at Gen Con, August 2-5 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

At Booth #601, Cryptozoic will demo and sell limited pre-release quantities of several of its highly anticipated upcoming games, including Rick and Morty: The Pickle Rick Game, Pantone: The Game, DC Spyfall, DC Deck-Building Game: Crisis Expansion Pack 4, and Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: Panic at the Pleasure Palace. In addition, it will sell Million Dollars, But… The Game before its release in partnership with Rooster Teeth on August 8. Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gets a Second Season

Nickelodeon, the number-one network for kids, announced today that Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the reimagined 2D-animated series, has been greenlit for a second season with 26 episodes. The action-comedy follows the band of brothers, Raph, Leo, Donnie and Mikey, as they discover new powers and encounter a mystical world they never knew existed beneath the streets of New York City. Season two will begin production this fall at Nickelodeon’s headquarters in Burbank, Calif.
