He-Man Wobbles & Power Rangers Go POP!
Funko are at it again. We're just going to start calling them the Vinyl Borg, because they assimilate all your pop culture loves. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!! Alf..we are looking at you. Today, Funko drops us a line that they are ready to reveal the first of their long awaited Masters of the Universe pieces and surprised us with some killer Power Rangers POP! Vinyl to boot!
First up, we have the Masters of the Universe. He-man and his medieval and yet often high tech defenders of Eternia square off against the forces of Skeletor and his monstrous army of thugs. For years we've gotten a giant helping of action figures, vehicles and cartoons to further the mythos, so it seemed a no-brainer to immortalize the characters further in little plastic statues with bobbley heads. In past months, we were given teases that the Masters would join the ranks of the POP! Vinyl universe as well, and this still seems like a sure thing. There are a lot of licenses that get treatment in both lines, so hang tight for that announcement! For now, take a look at the Wacky Wobblers with He-Man, Orko, Skeletor and Beast Man, all available December 20th.

Packaging and Descriptions for Star Wars Monster Mash-Ups

So we've got Yoda and a Gargoyle, Stormtrooper and a Skeleton, Darth Vader and Frankenstein and Chewbacca and a Werewolf...which create Yogoyle, Skeletrooper, Vadenstein and Werebacca! OK I made those names up, but I'll let them use em' if they ask me nice...and send me some. Look for Funko's Star Wars Monster Mash-Ups this September.
And now...My votes for upcoming releases...
Greedo and a Zombie (with the blast hole in his chest so you can see clear through)
Leia and the Bride of Frankenstein (which makes it incestuous...so double the horror)
Porkins and the Hunchback (just for the sake of comedy)
Han Solo and Dracula (cuz he gets the ladies)
Luke Skywalker and a Giant Bat Creature (to turn bunny teeth into bat fangs, of course!)
Darth Maul and The Mummy (trade the saber for a staff)
Grievous and The Fly (make use of those extra arms!)
R2D2 and The Blob (little transparent pink killer robot!!)
C3PO and The Creature from the Black Lagoon (just thinking about what the end design could look like makes me smile)
Who do you want mashed up??

Bif Bang Pow's Twilight Zone Bobbles for SDCC
San Diego Comic Con is nearly 2 months off, and you know what that means?! It's SDCC EXCLUSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!!! We've already shown you the goods from Mattel and Bif Bang Pow fired a preemptive strike with their Lost announcements, but today, we'll take a look at their Twilight Zone bobble assortment for the big show this year.

Gremlin from the episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" : This ultra-creepy bobble head is authentically designed and exactly painted in color, and measures 6-inches tall x 5-inches wide x 3-inches long. Inspired by one of the most memorable scenes from the show, the remarkable airplane-wing base has Gremlin sitting on the engine housing, tearing pieces from the wing! The piece also features the perspective from the inside of the airplane cabin with the window that faces Gremlin. You'll be having nightmares yourself if you let this wobbler get away from you! Limited edition of 504 pieces.

Talky Tiny from the episode "Living Doll" : Long before Chucky, there was Talky Tina, star of one of the most spine-chilling episodes of The Twilight Zone ever aired. In the show titled "Living Doll" that also starred Telly Savalas, Tina kept coming back and coming back, no matter what he did to try to destroy her. If you remember that frightening episode, you may think twice before ordering this item. But don't worry. After all, she's only an innocent, 6 1/2-inch tall, talking resin bobble head… or is she? Limited edition of 504 pieces. Talky Tina speaks the following phrases:
"My name is Talky Tina, and I love you very much."
"My name is Talky Tina, and I don't think I like you."
"My name is Talky Tina, and you'd better be nice to me."
"My name is Talky Tina, and you'll be sorry."
"My name is Talky Tina, and I'm going to kill you."

Invader from the episode "The Invaders" : Flee in Terror, the Invaders Are Back! Are they Spacemen? Aliens? Miniature Robots? Watch the episode number 51 and find out. Standing about 6 1/2-inches tall, from the classic Twilight Zone episode "The Invaders," comes our latest incredible bobble head available exclusively at Comic-Con International this summer. This is a limited edition of just 504 pieces!

The Mystic Seer from the episode "Nick of Time" : "The hand belongs to Mr. Don S. Carter, male member of a honeymoon team on route across the Ohio countryside to New York City. In one moment, they will be subjected to a gift most humans never receive in a lifetime. For one penny, they will be able to look into the future. The time is now, the place is a little diner in Ridgeview, Ohio, and what this young couple doesn't realize is that this town happens to lie on the outskirts of the Twilight Zone." Based on the classic The Twilight Zone episode "Nick of Time" that starred William Shatner, this terrific Mystic Seer Bobble Head measures about 6 1/2-inches tall x 3-inches wide x 2 1/4-inches deep, and it even includes fortune-telling cards as part of the packaging. Wouldn't this look great on top of your TV set? Limited color edition of 1000 pieces!

Kanamit from the episode "To Serve Man" : Based on The Twilight Zone's rather disturbing "To Serve Man" episode from 1962, this remarkable color-version bobble head from Bif Bang Pow! presents The Kanamit, a considerably covert character set on adding mankind to his menu of delectable dishes. The alien emissary is incredibly and authentically detailed in 7-inch scale, holding his "cook book." Buy him, admire him, but don't invite him to cook dinner! Limited edition of 504 pieces.
