Toy Fair 2025: Funko Expands the Bitty Pop Universe with Bitty City

Funko just took tiny collecting to a much bigger level with the debut of Bitty City at New York Toy Fair! Expanding on the wildly popular Bitty Pop! toy line, Bitty City lets fans collect, build, and customize their own miniature Funko world, complete with stackable buildings, roads, rides, and scenic backdrops from their favorite franchises.

We are mere days away from the big show in New York City, where Funko will lay out 5 thousand pops due out in 2 weeks. I KEED i kid. Funko does have a massive booth at NY Toy Fair, as one would have to house Pop figures from 50 different licenses, the latest accessories from Loungefly and the most killer collectibles that make your wallet beg for mercy from MONDO. For die-hard Funko fans' it's enough to make you dizzy, so let's do a little pre-game prep! UK Toy Fair often holds back the BIG reveals for NY, but the Funko booth is no slouch, with Pops from Horror, Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Universal, the tiniest Bitty Pops and their new habitats (the Bitty Boxes!), MONDO releases from Scott Pilgrim, Halloween, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-Men and Masters of the Universe and top tier Loungefly fashions from Marvel, Disney, Pokemon, San Rio & more! Funko & Loungefly Celebrate Stranger Things Day

First, there was cold spaghetti day. Then, slap your uncle with a hot dog weekend. Annnnd we're back, digging into that giant pile of UK Toy Fair coverage Matthew Hawkins delivered. Funko always has their own space at this event and are extremely welcoming, so we take the time to shoot everything we can. AS SUCH, you must know it's hard to figure what is new (recently released), from what is new new (has been seen but not in person), and what is super new (never seen before), so Matt shot everything not nailed down. Seemed a logical course of action!

Back into the UK Toy Fair coverage with FUNKO...masters of all pop culture... everywhere...forever. OK maybe not forever but you have to admit, they've done a damn good job of making a Pop Vinyl Figure from nearly every beloved child hood memory you could ever have. Star Wars has always been a big part of Funko's yearly toy plans, whether it be Pops, mystery minis, key chains, super sized figures, figures on rides and on and oooon. The UK Toy Fair showroom revealed this trend will continue with items on display from the latest film, the mega popular Mandalorian Disney + series, several art pieces, a celebration of the 40th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back and more! Dive in for the goods...

Fortnite Funko Pops Build Ramps to Your Cash

A short while back, Epic Games and their new licensing partners released a pile of press releases announcing the coming of Fortnite collectibles, games and apparel. Fortnite Monopoly seems to have been the first piece to hit retail, followed quickly by Halloween costumes and props at Spirit Halloween stores and Spencers. Moose Toys, Jazwares, McFarlane Toys and Funko all announced their Fortnite collectible intentions, but now, Funko gives us our first look!

Funko's insanely popular Pop Vinyl Figure line adds a whole squad of Fortnite skins with a wallet punching 13 figures shown straight out of the gate. We've got no idea if these will be released all at once or if this is the sum of more than one wave, but we are sure to find out soon. Past experience tells us that when Funko shows off new toy pics, a retail release isn't far behind.

Funko's IT Mystery Minis Figures

Horror fans have enjoyed a great many collectibles celebrating their favorite fiends, creatures and human monsters, but Stephen King fans are woefully underserved. Outside of The Shining and Carrie, even the ever-expanding pop culture universes of Funko do not include a frothy mouthed dog, a homicidal car or a charasmatic antichrist. With the arrival of the mega popular IT remake, Funko explored a new opportunity to dip into King's worlds and now, we get some little claymation looking monster fighters!

Funko Gives Us a New Look at The Predator Fugitive, Assassin, Hounds and.. Rory?

We are back into the Funko news with more on the Horror front, this time with more of a Scifi flavor as we take on the hunt for The Predator! Or is it hunting alongside The Predator? Since one is the Fugitive and one, The Assassin, can we assume this is a battle between aliens and we'd best not get into the middle of things?? From the looks of the trailer, the Fugitive crashes to earth and the Assassin comes to get him. Whoever wins...WE LOSE!! sorry..sorry...I didn't mean to remind you of that movie...

Toy Fair 2018: Funko on Marvel, DC and Image Comics

What's global Toy Fair coverage without a billion FUNKO PRODUCTS??!! This year, Funko went truly global, turning up at UK Toy Fair AND Spring Fair with the massive gallery you'd expect as a spoiled American journalist. Matt Hawkins dove into the sea of geeky thingies and delivered a ridiculous pile of images we are working our way through...slowly....but surely. Let's take a look at all the comic book characters we spotted on those display shelves...

Toy Fair 2018: Funko Gets Animated: Rick and Morty, Sailor Moon, Disney & More

As we combed through the very hefty stack of Funko toy pictures yet to be edited, the question came up. What big license was yet to be consumed and transformed into Funko product? Since we were in UK Toy Fair mode, I suggested Aardman, creators of  Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run, Shaun the Sheep and more. Coming up with a second one was tough. Funko have already revealed official art for upcoming waves of pops and mini figures, but we were lucky enough to spend some time in their loving embrace, awash in the glow of geeky goodness from all sides. It was warm and shiny. Let's kick off this look at Funko's 2018 product with the items based on animated licenses...

Hellboy Funko Pops Nearly Here

We hear the moaning sounds across the internets. We've shared those moans. Some are sick-to-death of Funko's seemingly unstoppable Pop army and others, triggered with joy and gimme hands the second they see a wall of white window boxes. For me, I find the whole phenomenon fascinating and will admit to being tempted by more of my fair share of toy offerings. While I've managed to keep my urges for little black eyed desk mascots which can potentially be an entire wall covering to a minimum, I can completely understand the appeal (Ren and Stimpy are miiiiine).
