Pop Culture Shock Presents Street Fighter's Poison 1:4 Scale Statue
With her bondage cap, studded choker, riding crop and hand-cuffs, Poison is not the most subtle of characters. Her exposed midriff, "Daisy Duke" shorts and trademark red high heels are not exactly practical for fighting, either.
But other characters can be subtle, and dress in sensible garb. Poison’s M.O. is attracting attention, and at that, no other Capcom character comes close.
First appearing in Street Fighter’s cousin franchise, Final Fight, she would cameo in the background of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and other Street Fighter games before becoming playable in Street Fighter x Tekken. By then she had so intrigued fans that Capcom had no choice but to add her to the roster of an actual SF game, Ultra Street Fighter IV, where moves like her Poison Kiss made her insanely popular.
But what makes Poison truly unique is the question of her gender.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Video Game Trailer LIVES *UPDATED
*Updated with game features at 3pm est
**Updated with Official press Release at 3:39pm est
Rumors of a NEW Marvel vs Capcom game have been rumbling around for quite some time, with questions centered around who Marvel would allow front and center for this epic video game throwdown. Those with fond memories of Wolverine's "Berserker Barrage" could shelve that enthusiasm, along with dreams of the return of Sabretooth, Juggernaut and the rest of the X-Men Universe. Those with visions of Fantastic Four heroes and villains...will face a similar let down, to be sure. Of course all this is not set in stone, but as the FOX/Marvel rift still remains, it seems unlikely anyone not owned (at least in part ...lookin at you Spidey) by Marvel Studios would be left on the bench. Still...HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE WE GOT AN AWESOME VIDEO GAME WITH MARVEL COMIC BOOK CHARACTERS??!! Welp..it's time. And as expected, it is glorious...

Udon Street Fighter Swimsuit Special #1
I fondly remember the days when Marvel Comics didn't take itself quite so seriously and had Swimsuit Special editions featuring teeny tiny outfits cosplayers re-create even today (bless them.) Gamora completely rocked her Death's Head bikini. She Hulk was awe inspiring. (no, I don't have a thing for green girls, but thanks for asking.) Even the dudes got in on it. These days, with Cinematic Universes to cultivate, the mighty Marvel Comic universe most likely takes its lead from folks preserving the marketing potential...and so..no scantily clad super folks. Capcom....has no such mandate. Begin your hnnnng mantra...

Life Lessons from the Sanrio Street Fighters
These days, mash-ups have become an inevitability. Sometimes, the mix is ironic perfection. Sometimes, the offspring of the co-mingling is a horror so hideous it should be set aflame ..its ashes buried 20 feet underground. ...And sometimes, the mash up creates something so unexpectedly adorable, you begin flinging your money at any merchandise the partnership produces. Such was the case at San Diego Comic Con this year when Toynami set out to sell their Chun Li Hello Kitty Plush Doll and sold out BEFORE THE SHOW EVEN OPENED!! Now, two books will celebrate this mega-cute engine of unstoppable happy...
