NYCC 2025: Crunchyroll Manga is Officially Here

Crunchyroll, the ultimate lifestyle brand for all things anime, just evolved. Starting today, Crunchyroll subscribers in the U.S. and Canada can explore fan-favorite series or discover new gems with the all-new Crunchyroll Manga, a premium add-on service that lets fans dive into hundreds of comics created in Japan.

Rolling out across iOS and Android, and a web version following October 15, the ad-free experience will feature titles from leading publishers, including AlphaPolis, COMPASS, Square Enix, VIZ Media, and Yen Press, and more to be announced in the future, making manga even more accessible than ever before.

The Town Hall (Matt Goldman, Executive Director; Melay Araya, Artistic Director) and Crunchyroll announced today details for Tokyo Ghoul 10th Anniversary Concert. Featuring The Sinfonietta, led by Macy Schmidt, the evening will take place at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street, New York, NY) on Tuesday October 7, 2025 at 8pm.

TMS Entertainment Announces Bananya Around the World

TMS Entertainment announces that the highly anticipated Bananya Season 3, Bananya Around the World will premier on Crunchyroll in October 2024!

To commemorate this announcement, a brand new visual revealing the newest characters has been released! Joining the bunch will be a smaller bananya named “Baby Sweet” and a mean-eyed “Manul”, with much more! See them in action in the newest trailer!

Anime NYC Presents Three New hololive VTuber Events

Anime NYC Powered by Crunchyroll today announced their continued partnership Japan’s COVER Corporation, operator of  the biggest VTuber agency in the world, hololive production, who will make Anime NYC their first stop for their first world concert tour, hololive STAGE World Tour ‘24 - Soar!- Friday, August 23. In addition, the newest generation: hololive English -Justice- will have their first convention Panel “Special Mission in New York!” Saturday, August 24; and fans can see the talk show with two of hololive GAMERS’ brightest stars on Sunday, August 25.

SDCC 2021: Adult Swim and Crunchyroll Reveal BLADE RUNNER: BLACK LOTUS

Adult Swim and Crunchyroll today revealed the characters and all-star cast of the much-anticipated animated series BLADE RUNNER: BLACK LOTUS from Alcon Entertainment. The new series is inspired by the award-winning and critically lauded Blade Runner movie franchise. A first look at the new series will debut at Comic-Con@Home 2021 panel hosted online on Friday, July 23rd.
