PAX West 2026 Welcomes Magic Sword to Concert Lineup

Show organizers ReedPop and Penny Arcade reveal one night of epic concerts at PAX West 2026. The West Coast’s most-attended gaming event returns to the Seattle Convention Center this Labor Day weekend from Friday, Sept. 4, through Monday, Sept. 7, 2026.

On Friday night, bask in the power of the synthwave jams of Magic Sword, known for their hit song “In the Face of Evil,” with more than 30 million streams on Spotify. The three masked members — The Keeper, The Seer, and The Weaver – bring live instrumentation into their electropop melodies for a thrilling experience.

Critical Role Headlines MomoCon 2026

MomoCon, the largest celebration of anime and gaming in the Southeast United States, returns to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from Thursday, May 21, to Sunday, May 24, 2026, featuring the cast of the American web series Critical Role.

Known for its famous web series, Critical Role began as a group of voice actors coming together to play the fantasy tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons. In the years since, it has evolved into a multi-platform entertainment behemoth that includes comic series, art books, novels, campaign setting books, animated series, miniatures, and other collectibles.

Dragon Con 2025: The Force Still STRONG with Star Wars Cosplayers

Ice Nine Kills Launch UK Silver Scream Con

Following four hugely successful years in the US, ICE NINE KILLS launch their first horror convention in the UK with SILVER SCREAM CON LONDON. Taking place at London’s Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch on December 13th and 14th, the two day event follows ICE NINE KILLS first ever UK Arena headline tour, which ends at OVO Arena Wembley on Friday December 12th.

PAX East 2025 Badges on Sale This Wednesday

As PAX Unplugged 2024 comes to a close, co-show organizers ReedPop and Penny Arcade announce the East Coast’s most-attended tabletop gaming event will return to the Pennsylvania Convention Center from Friday, Nov. 21, through Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025. 

Badges for PAX East 2025, the East Coast’s most-attended gaming event, returning to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center from Thursday, May 8, through Sunday, May 11, 2025, go on sale this Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024. 

PAX Unplugged 2024: Critical Role Cast, Acquisitions Inc Join Packed 3 Day Schedule

Show organizers ReedPop and Penny Arcade have revealed the first panel and event schedule for PAX Unplugged 2024, the East Coast’s most-attended tabletop gaming event, ahead of its return to the Pennsylvania Convention Center from Friday, Dec. 6, through Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024.

KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE To Invade PAX East

IllFonic is thrilled to announce its participation in PAX East 2024! IllFonic will bring consumers their first hands-on experience with Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game, starting March 21, 2024, through Sunday, March 24, 2024, on the convention floor. Not only will fans enjoy their first look into Crescent Cove, but they will be treated to an in-depth discussion on bringing this classic IP into the gaming space from Killer Klown creators, the Chiodo Bros., and the IllFonic design team. The panel, located in the Albatross Theater (room 210), will kick off on Saturday, March 23, at 1 PM EST. If fans cannot make the panel, they might get lucky to play with a brother or three in the Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game booth on the convention floor throughout the show. 

Crunchyroll Bringing World Premiere of TRIGUN STAMPEDE to Anime NYC

E3 2023 Dates Announced

E3, the legendary gaming industry event, returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) for a four-day expo from Tuesday, June 13 through Friday, June 16, 2023 and will feature separate industry and consumer days and spaces. Additionally, E3 will support and uplift partnered digital events taking place starting June 11 and running throughout the show.

E3 Business Days will take place Tuesday, June 13 to Thursday, June 15, reserved exclusively for registered industry personnel to network in-person, hold professional meetings, and connect with licensors and distributors. Amidst dedicated, industry-only halls and spaces, media can go hands-on with upcoming games showcased by developers and publishers from around the world.

DC Collectibles Heads to DesignerCon with Exclusives

DC Collectibles, DC’s in-house line of high-end collectibles, will make its DesignerCon debut, showcasing some of the company’s most cutting-edge collectibles at this year’s convention from November 16-18, 2018, in Anaheim, CA.

Taking center stage at the show is DC Collectibles’ artist-focused designer vinyl line, DC Artists Alley. DC Artists Alley is inspired by the popular “Artist Alley” convention experience and allows innovative artists to put their eccentric spin on DC’s most iconic characters. At DesignerCon, DC Collectibles will debut a DC Artists Alley convention exclusive variant of HaiNaNu “Nooligan” Saulque’s Nightwing figure. The design embodies Nooligan’s signature offbeat art style and features a “streetwear” makeover of Dick Grayson, complete with casual sneakers and a custom Nightwing varsity jacket. The standard version hits stores in December 2018, but a special-edition black-and-gold Eclipse variant will be available to purchase exclusively at the convention. The con exclusive is limited to 200 pieces and includes an original sketch of a Batman family character, hand-drawn by Nooligan.

SDCC 2018: Fox Readies High Stakes Buffy Vampire Hunt!

To celebrate Buffy the Vampire Slayer, on Saturday, July 21st, 20th Century Fox Consumer Products invites Buffy fans on the first-ever Buffy Vampire Hunt through San Diego.  Every fan becomes a slayer as they must locate each ‘Vampire Nest’ across the Gaslamp District and throughout San Diego’s Convention Center. NYCC 2017: Amazon Prime Video Reveals The Tick & Lore Environments

Amazon Prime Video is sure to stir up excitement at this year’s New York Comic Con with two of their newest shows hitting the floor of the Javits Center. Enter The Tick and Lore – two cult favorites that will be brought to life in the epicenter of sci-fi fandom in a completely immersive way.

Amazon Prime Video made its first foray into the hero universe with The Tick this past summer, which subsequently took San Diego Comic-Con fans by storm. The Tick will be back in a big blue way for this year’s NYCC and is bringing his companion, Dangerboat, along for the ride.

HASCON 2017: Marvel Legends Continue to Dominate

As expected, Hasbro was not going to waste the opportunity to show off as much new product as possible at their first ever HASCON in Providence, RI. While a full lineup of Black Panther merchandise was absolutely the show stopper, long time Legends fans were lighting the message boards ablaze with talk of new figure reveals and what each character selection means for future waves of action figures. For us at Idle Hands, we read NOTHING into anything Hasbro does these days. It's clear the creatives over there have a wishlist they are running down, including Toy Biz figures in dire need of a Hasbro update, movie and TV stars they can now do justice to with the help of new sculpting technology, and characters they never dreamed they would be allowed to make before as retailer faith in the brand reaches new highs, allowing for waves of characters not weighed down by obligatory inclusions of Captain America, Iron Man and Spider-Man variants.
