Marvel TV Into 2025

There's been a very noticeable slowdown in the amount of Marvel media content thrown to us by our Disney lord and masters. Most likely the underperforming of certain films caused higher-ups to apply the breaks a bit. Sometimes you just need to take a couple of steps back and reassess. And so they did. And we felt it. You go from being a spoiled comic book reading kid with three Marvel films a year and at least 2 TV projects to gobble up...to..whatever this sorry existence is!!! Yes, I am being dramatic, but if Marvel doesn't hurry their asses up, I'll be watching my first X-Men movie when I celebrate my 70th birthday. LET'S GET CRACKIN!!

DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE: EXPOSED: Photos From The Set

Marvel Merch Reveals a First Look at IRONHEART

With the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman, Marvel fans across the planet have been keeping an ear to the ground in hopes of picking up any little hint to the future of the Marvel Studios BLACK PANTHER franchise. While we know the second film titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to release on November 11th, 2022, there have not been any further details exposed as to a storyline, and most importantly, if a character we are familiar with may take up the mantle of The Black Panther.

She-Hulk Trailer Drops - We All Freak Out

She-Hulk was spiraling. While seemingly balancing her duties with The Avengers and a New York nightlife that would make Paris Hilton blush, Jennifer Walters left all manner of calamity, chaos, and cleanup (specifically for Jarvis, the house butler) in her wake and her human persona far behind her. Jarvis demanded She-Hulk's eviction, and as the true leader of the Avengers, it was so. Now forced to fend for herself, the diminutive and very vulnerable Jennifer is hired by a superhuman law firm to fight for powered individuals, not with fists, but with the full weight of the AMERICAN JUDICIAL SYSTEM!! And so...the hijinks begin. 

While the new Disney+ She-Hulk TV series seems to divert a bit from this storyline, it seems they've kept the comedic beats, and with acting powerhouse Tatiana Maslany in the lead role....we prepare ourselves for greatness.

Today, Disney+ has dropped the trailer for their new Hawkeye series, teaming the all-too-human Avenger with Kate Bishop, the woman who would be his successor. Until now, we've gotten only some quick quips from Hawkeye, whether in the heat of action reminiscing about that chaotic Budapest escapade or laying on a hospital table getting skin grafts, so die-hard Marvel Comics fans have been waiting for the powers that be to present us with the wise-cracking, crap talking, takes 100 hits and gets back up Hawkeye that we know and love from years of books. Catch a FREE Black Panther Screening at Art House Theaters

Black Panther returns to the big screen with free screenings at nonprofit art house theaters nationwide on Tuesday, November 27 at 4:00pm PT/7:00pm ET. Presented by Film Comment, a publication of the Film Society of Lincoln Center, and supported by the Art House Convergence, the event will feature a post-screening Q&A with director Ryan Coogler, taking place at the Christopher B. The X-Men are Coming Home!!!

Maybe...very possibly..and on good authority!! It was last reported that the acquisition of FOX assets by Disney might be done as soon as next week, but today, International Business Times have reported the deal is all but DONE and all that is left is to issue the official announcement and outline what the deal includes, plug in happy, excited quotes from Disney and FOX reps and then let the geeky world drown in speculation as to how soon we'll see a Wolverine cameo and when we'll hear the first mention of  MUTANTS on Agents of SHIELD!!

CHILLS!! A good trailer should illicit them whether you are familiar with the characters or not. For me, growing up a Marvel Comics kid, the chills come often with the release of each new Marvel Studios movie trailer, but not as often with the Netflix trailers (though CAGE was an exception). Now we get a new trailer for the Netflix solo Punisher TV series with Jon Bernthal in the staring role, prepared to kick ass and chew bubble gum...and..ya know...all out of bubblegum...

HASCON 2017: Hasbro Marvel Black Panther Movie Toys *UPDATED 9/9 @ 10pm

It Has BEGUN!! Hasbro takes a stab at the D23 model by launching their own convention right in their back yard. We didn't know much about the convention as we are still the forsaken Hasbro loving children here at Idle Hands, but one thing we were sure of.. there would be plenty of reveals if Hasbro could help it. It's their first con! How could they not show absolutely everything they are able to show?! We've got our first report from our buddy Michael at @jackowicktoys on Instagram as he was running through the convention hall at breakneck speeds and came across new Black Panther movie toys. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 Marches To Their Own Beat

Gaze upon me, geeks. I am the guy they drew those cartoons about. After seeing the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, I was perplexed as to why the entire planet was going insane for it. I didn't hate it..I just didn't like it very much. It's not like I wanted to take the joy away from those that did love it or be king of the obnoxious peoples by asking them to explain to me what parts were "good". I just had issues with the film, and for once, my life-long-love of Marvel Comics was not forcing any pre-conceived notions about what the movie was supposed to be, as I'd not really read anything with any of the characters in it. My gripes were few, but echoed throughout the film:

Sweet Suite 2017: LEGO: Marvel Thor: Ragnarok Preview

Sweet Suite is an extremely fun yearly event thrown by the fine folks at Toy Insider where we face the unique challenge of scoring free drinks while attempting to hold a camera steady enough to shoot new toys. BATTLE!! Galaxia Siandre accepted that challenge at my side and together, we swept the room clean of any and all scoops and..well..probably shot every toy there too. Just days away from San Diego Comic-Con, let's get a jump on drooling over new toys with LEGO!

Thor: Ragnarok... Where Everything Goes to Hell

Thor seems to be a tricky subject for Marvel Studios. Being a long time fan of Marvel Comics, in my opinion, they've yet to capture the fun and sense of high adventure that comes with travelling to Asgard and we've absolutely not met even 10% of the creatures and colorful characters that reside there. Director Taika Waititi Looks like he's going to change all that. With glimpses of Hela decimating Asgard, Executioner letting loose with human artillery, The Valkyries taking on Hela, and every shot looking like amazing concept art and/or Jack Kirby's last wish, I have a feeling this is the first Thor movie i'm going to be going completely insane over. Toy Fair 2017: More LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 Images!

Global Toy Fair 2017 coverage is in FULL RAGE MODE!! Now with news coming in from the UK x3, the US and Germany simultaneously...suffice to say...we've got a lot to sort through daily! Today, we head back over to the seedy side of the galaxy to visit with our favorite bunch of A holes as they prepare to team up with the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe ...but first..they've got another solo adventure on the way. Our last visit with the Guardians of the Galaxy revealed LEGO sets and an animated series themed toy line. Now we head back into the bricks to show you the super fun art that often accompanies each LEGO set, but is generally only appreciated by die hard fans. We've added it to the pics we showed previously just to have it all in one place. DIG IT!!
