NYCC 2018: Dreamworks Animation TV Lineup

DreamWorks Animation Television is set to present several jam-packed panels at New York Comic Con 2018, with executive producers and voice talent on hand from its upcoming Netflix original series DreamWorks She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, as well as the fan favorite Voltron Legendary Defender.  Each series will offer sneak peeks, panel discussions and fan Q&A’s.

SDCC 2018: Bluefin Bandai Shogukan Voltron Exclusive

Bluefin, the leading North American distributor of toys, collectibles, and hobby merchandise from Japan and Asia, announces a special version of the Super Voltron Super Mini-Pla from Bandai’s Shokugan brand that will be offered as a convention exclusive at the 2018 Comic-Con International.

This special Voltron variant includes exclusive box-art and an additional effect part to recreate the "Form Blazing Sword" sequence and is not found in the standard version of the model kit. It will be offered to Comic-Con attendees at the Bluefin Booth with an MSRP of $70.00. During the convention Bluefin will offer a wide array of products for sale from popular Bandai brands including Bandai Hobby and Bandai Shogukan.

Back into the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives files with Playmates who have a lineup of collectibles based on the mega-popular Netflix Voltron and Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series! While the Voltron set can be considered a "sneak preview" (as they will pop up in Toys R Us stores soon), the Nickelodeon booth will only be unloading 350 of the Usagi Yojimbo set at SDCC (with no word of where the rest will be on sale), so expect this one to be a piece folks will be battling over...

DreamWorks Animation Television and Netflix will present a jam-packed Voltron Legendary Defender panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2017, with series showrunners and voice talent debuting the premiere episode of the highly-anticipated third season of the critically-acclaimed Netflix original series.

Fans will be treated to a first look into the exciting third season of the pop culture phenomenon Voltron Legendary Defender. Join executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos, co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery, Bex Taylor-Klaus (voice of Pidge), and Tyler Labine (voice of Hunk) in 6BCF for a special screening and a sneak peek at what’s to come for Team Voltron. The panel will be moderated by Kyle Anderson, Associate Editor of Nerdist.

Voltron: Legendary Defender

NYCC 2013: Voltron and Robotech Team Up

Fresh off the blockbuster comic series team up announcement this summer from Dynamite Entertainment, New York Comic Con will host a joint panel of two of anime's greatest legends—Voltron^® and Robotech—for the first time on Friday October 11th at 11:00 a.m. in Room 1A14 ! This historic event will be the first time representatives of both properties will be together discussing the much buzzed about Robotech / Voltron crossover from Dynamite Comics.  

 

To give fans the latest news, sneak peeks, and insights into the creation of this historic crossover, World Events Productions (WEP,LLC) and Harmony Gold U.S.A. can confirm the following members of the creative team will be attending the New York Comic Con:

Tommy Yune is co-writing the story with Dynamite Comics who will produce and distribute the comics. The first issue of the Robotech / Voltron Crossover is expected to be released in December 2013.

Young Steven Sievers travels the world with his Super Pirate Booty Hunt crew looking for adventure, danger, and all manor of geekery. Earlier this week he was rubbing elbows with the stars of THOR!! Today, he delivers a stack of eye candy for his fellow nerds who have been drooling over Mattel's amazing SDCC exclusives lineup from the second it aired on G4. Not pictured are Stay Puft, Ghoulia, the Carol Ferris Barbie and what's in the Back to the Future box. WHAT'S IN THE BOOOOOOX??!! For those that missed it, here's the short version of the list and details:

Swamp Thing - $30 - This 9 inch tall figure comes packed in a recyclable/bio-degradable vacuform mask! Features articulation hidden under his rubbery body, comes with a base and 2 of the Un-men, who will not be available when this figure is available on Mattycollector.com.
















Blazing Sword Voltron - $30 - A 6 inch version of your favorite Lion-bot with 22 points of articulation, his sword and a second semi-translucent sword as it looks as its being formed. A sound chip in the box he comes in recites the whole opening of the show.






























Ghostbusters Stay Puft Marshmallow Man - $70 - Standing over 20 inches tall by Mattel's measurements with a soft, squishy foam body, still allowing for articulation at the head, arms and legs. SP comes in a giant diorama package that folds out into a city scape.

Young Justice Superboy in Cloning Chamber - $20 - Goes with your 4.5 inch figure line, pictured in his white outfit as he was found in the cloning chamber in the first episode. The chamber itself has a button on the front so I expect it will light up and maybe even say something?!






















Monster High Comic Con Ghoulia - $20 - A limited edition of the most popular doll in the series dressed as her favorite zombie super hero, Dead Fast. Ghoulia comes with a miniature Dead Fast action figure and a Dead Fast fan fic book that she wrote and illustrated herself.
