Toy Fair 2016: Hasbro's Ultimate Spider-Man Vs The Sinister Six *UPDATED!*

Sometime in 2016, the Ultimate Spider-Man animated TV series returns to Disney XD, morphing into Spider-Man Vs. The Sinister Six. From advance art we saw on the walls of the Marvel booth at New York Comic Con, we know that Spider-Man will go up against Doc Ock, Rhino, Kraven the Hunter, Electro, Lizard and Green Goblin. Now we get a look at the new toy line and see who's on team Spidey!

The Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble cartoons have been neck deep in hardcore comic book storylines...kiddified to an extent..and re-written just for the hell of it, of course. We've visited plenty of those comic Spider-Verse characters over the last year, and you'll be pleased to hear a small selection will be sticking around to join the fight.

The Spiderverse Comes to the Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors Cartoon Series

Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors is entering “THE SPIDER-VERSE!” Watch all-new episodes on Disney XD for four weeks of SPIDER-VERSE action beginning THURSDAY, MARCH 5 at 9:00 PM ET/PT!

In the all-new story arc “THE SPIDER-VERSE,” get ready to see Spider-Man like never before. Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man makes its Disney Channel debut in a special one-hour Halloween event, Saturday, October 5 at 9pm/8c. This brand new prime time animation special features a never-before-seen team-up with Blade, the fan favorite vampire hunter; Jack Russell aka Werewolf by Night; The Living Mummy; Frankenstein’s Monster and Man-Thing. Toy Fair 2012 is over 2 months away, but if San Diego Comic Con can start their pre-show prep, so can we! We've been laying out Hasbro's action figure and construction kit plans for next year. Now we'll take a look at what LEGO has planned for their DC Comics and Marvel Comics universes.

For those looking forward to a new year when LEGO might explore the full breathe of the Marvel and DC comics worlds, we have good news and bad news. The good news is that the Marvel sets will include some new characters. The bad news is most of those new characters are either movie related or have an animated angle. In that same respect, in their DC lineups, you'll get new characters, but a great deal of them are re-released or movie related. Let's lay things out.

Keeping up with the Marvel Mayhem, we bring you a hefty list of pre-orders put through to retailers detailing (but only slightly) a selection of Hasbro's 2013 offerings, focusing mainly on those projects with media tie-ins like Movie or TV. The titles include Avengers Assemble (the animated series), Iron Man 3 and Ultimate Spider-Man (the animated series.) Let's just jump right in...

The Spider-Man is Dead. Long Live the Spider-Man!

What's hotter than super hero death right now? Nothing I tells ya! Marvel Comics had juuuuust croaked Spider-Man of the Ultimate Universe but immediately realized the show must go on. In the real world, we die every day and someone has to stand up and take up our lazy corpse's slack.
