With an assist from Mighty Marvel_Freshman , my night of blissful slumber was ground to dust as a new Iron Man action figure mystery arose out of China. Ebay user bluesduff2008 appears to have...shall we say.."liberated" some new Iron Man 3 action figures fresh off the assembly line! Normally, we are very skeptical about these things, but after pouring over the pictures, we've found several signs these could be the real deal. First, there's the only description we've had so far of (seemingly) the ONLY 3 and 3 quarter inch Iron Man 3 figure line. **WARNING!! Spoilers Ahead!!**
"Iron Man 3 Iron Assemblers Action Figure Assortment: 14 "Connectable" figures (wave 1, Feb 2013) with multiple interchangable pieces to deliver maximum customization. Wave 2 in March and Wave 3 in April."

POOLWATCH: Kotobukiya's Deadpool Fine Art Statue..and some other Marvel Stuff

Never stopping for a moment, Deadpool is posed in the midst of intense action, leaping over a crate with weapons at the ready. His iconic red and black skin-tight costume highlights the mutant assassin’s muscular physique as well as the intense concentration apparent on his face. Deadpool is also laden with his usual assortment of goodies, including the knife sheathed on his left ankle, various waist pouches, and a gun holstered on his right thigh. Depending on what style of fighting you prefer, Deadpool can be outfitted with either set of included arms; one wields his deadly katanas and the other fires intricately detailed Uzis!
Deadpool stands approximately 10 inches tall, leaning over a detailed battle scene complete with crate and even a tiny Deadpool “plush” toy! Sculpted by Erick and William Valenzuela, the demented yet hilarious assassin is recreated in high quality cold cast resin.
Available this August with an MSRP of $200. My only crit would be that Koto should go easy on the glaze. It makes the statue look too shiny. Bowen has always done this right.

The Bishoujo line continues in 2010 with the recently announced White Phoenix San Diego Comic Con exclusive.
Sculpted by Koei Matsumoto, White Phoenix is constructed of high-quality pvc plastic and stands approximately 9 inches tall (in 1/8 scale with the other Marvel x Bishoujo statues). The stunning beauty of the White Phoenix will look great in your collection, especially standing side by side with the green Phoenix and her “evil twin,” the Dark Phoenix!
The White Phoenix Bishoujo statues will be available as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive from Preview Night, July 21st! Both the standard and Dark Phoenix versions are available for pre-order now with an SRP of $59.99

Koto also showed off concept art for the next piece; Emma Frost, so we thought that might bear repeating...and showing off...and drooling over.

Iron Man 2 Italian TV Spot
Ah yes, it is turning out to be Iron Man day here, isn't it? Coming Soon just posted the Italian commercial running for Iron Man 2. So you ask yourself, what is better than Iron Man on the big screen?! ITALIAN IRON MAN ON THE BIG SCREEN!!! I'm sure this would work in Spanish too. Es Mui Macho.
With a lineup including War Machine, Nick Fury, Black Widow and Iron Man himself on the side of good and Whiplash and the Military Drones (one for each branch of the US military service as shown HERE) on team evil, there's no doubt this movie will short circuit many a nerdy mind...but one question still remains. Have we seen all the bad guys yet? Stay tuned!!

NEW Images from SEGA's Iron Man 2 Video Game

The development team at SEGA Studios San Francisco has also paid close attention to comments from fans and critics concerning the first Iron Man movie game. “Iron Man has an undeniably huge fan base, and we really wanted to give them the game they have been waiting for. We spent a lot of time incorporating their concerns and feedback from the first game, as well as coming up with new ideas to take this game to a whole new level,” said Sean Ratcliffe, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America. “Creating a new story with renowned comic book writer Matt Fraction is a huge part of making that happen, and we are incredibly excited to bring fans the game we know they want with Iron Man 2.”
