Hasbro Marvel DOOMSDAY Titans and Action Verse *UPDATED*

San Diego Comic-Con 2026 did not disappoint with the reveal of an entire wave of DOOMSDAY Marvel Legends, including Cyclops, Captain America, Gambit, Shang-Chi, Thor, and Doctor Doom, himself!! The wave is expected to hit November of 2026. Also dropping during the show were the Avengers DOOMSDAY LEGO sets, which include a Doom Bust, The Avengers Quinjet, and the New Avengers Tower. Now we'll take a look at the lower-priced point stuff for the kids to wage multi-dimensional war with!! When last we visited these lines HERE, it was the first time seeing old friends in a new adventure, so just being exposed to their new looks...and the X-Men alongside the Fantastic Four and Avengers..was enough to have any Marvel fan grinning til their face hurt! Let's get some more of that fun back today...

SDCC 2026: Hasbro & Fathom Team for Transformers: The Movie

We invested a great deal of time into a video showing you all the Spider-Man: Brand New Day toys hitting shelves NOW and....SOON! EVOLVE OR DIE! This was the battle cry for G.I.Joe as weak, live-action movies forced loveless action figure lines and nearly put the license in the ground. Some years later, G.I.Joe enjoys new life in a 6 inch figure format, introducing characters like Fire Fighters and Police that inspire collectors to ARMY BUILD, even if they only have the slightest interest in the Joes and their eternal struggle with COBRA. JOE), Dan Mora (TRANSFORMERS), Jorge Corona (TRANSFORMERS), Tom Reilly (G.I. JOE), Conor Hughes (Void Rivals) and Ben Abernathy (Executive Editor for the Energon Universe at Skybound). 

NYCC 2025: Hasbro Star Wars

Back down to the show floor we go at New York Comic Con, where we thought it best to hit up Hasbro bright and early on day one, not realizing they'd add new toys throughout the weekend!! I mean...it was a good idea at the time. Tackle the biggest names first? Ah well. We still got loads of pics, and I sent Mike Stencel back to make more sweeps of the Transformers and G.I.Joe sections..which he shot expertly. SO..off we go to a galaxy far, far away...

NYCC 2025: Hasbro on TRON

Rejoice, Users! The pixels have chosen you this day to hear the good word of the "Haslab" which has deemed Classic Tron as their new project! 3.75 inch figures populate the line with characters including Flynn, Yori, Sark, Program, and Tron alongside 2 light cycles. Under Hasbro's new 375 line, we'll also see modern pinless Tron Legacy action figures including Flynn, Clu, Tron, and someone on a light cycle. SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WEEKEND!! NYCC 2025: Skybound and Hasbro Reveal New Energon Universe Optimus Prime

At the Transformers/G.I. Joe: Energon Universe panel, Robert Kirkman, head of Skybound Entertainment, unveiled an all-new Optimus Prime Leader Scale figure coming to Hasbro Pulse in Fall 2026.

Standing at 7.25 inches (18 cm) tall and priced at $59.99, this figure captures a striking moment from the Energon Universe comics where Optimus Prime, after a fierce battle with Skywarp, rips off his own damaged arm and replaces it with Megatron’s fusion cannon.

Toy Fair 2025: Mattel and Hasbro Team for Barbie Play-Doh

Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) and Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAT) today announced the launch of a new PLAY-DOH Barbie collection from Hasbro’s new licensing collaboration with Mattel. This unique line includes an assortment of dolls with special fashion-making tools that encourage kids to bring out their inner fashionista and create whatever DOH-ified fashions they can imagine. Skybound, Image & Hasbro Announce THE TRANSFORMERS Compendium Vol. 1

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the beloved TRANSFORMERS franchise, marking “40 Years. One Legacy.”, today Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with leading toy and game company Hasbro, announced the upcoming spring 2025 release of THE TRANSFORMERS Compendium Vol. 1, which will collect every issue of the original Marvel Comics series for the landmark franchise in a new reader-friendly compendium format for the very first time. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire Movie Toys Hitting Now!

The extended warmth could only last for so long, and now the chill is enough to shock a body awake instantly. The snow has fallen... the ice is creeping in a slightly supernatural way... Who you gonna call?? 

For Ghostbusters Fans (like meeee!!), it's time to celebrate the oncoming film FROZEN EMPIRE, and now that we are in the 2-month countdown, the official toys have begun hitting retailer shelves. As is the custom, and to not spoil the movie, the initial drop will contain pretty basic things we've seen in the trailers. Once the movie drops, all bets are off! Crossing my fingers for some new ghosts (ie; non-cartoony versions of the Pukey, Bonesey, and Possessor ghosts you can meet below!), and that Hasbro will finally take the iconic license beyond the newest film and the classic toy line and push into Animated Real Ghostbusters territory while inviting visionary artists to come up with some original creatures to add to the shelf top battles. A man can dream!

Your First Look At The New COBRA COMMANDER #1

Today Skybound, in collaboration with leading toy and game company Hasbro, revealed an impressive lineup of variant covers and a first look at interior pages of Cobra Commander #1 from writer Joshua Williamson (DC’s Superman, Dark Ride), artist Andrea Milana (Impact Winter: Rook) and colorist Annalisa Leoni (Oblivion Song). The debut issue of the Energon Universe’s newest limited series arrives in comic book shops on January 17, 2024.

TRANSFORMERS And G.I. JOE Launch A New Shared Comic Book Universe Today

Today, it was announced that two of the world’s most popular franchises – Transformers and G.I. Joe – have a new comic book home as part of the historic partnership between toy and game company Hasbro and Skybound, effective immediately. 

Comic book fans who picked up their copies of Void Rivals #1 in comic shops today were the first to learn the news, as the blockbuster Oblivion Song team of writers Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead) and artist Lorenzo De Felici (Kroma), along with colorist Matheus Lopes (Step By Bloody Step) and letterer Rus Wooton, revealed that the highly anticipated series was actually a stealth launch of this new shared “Energon Universe” with the surprise first appearance of iconic Transformers character Jetfire. 

Three upcoming releases, alongside Void Rivals, mark the beginning of the interconnected “Energon Universe” featuring both the characters and franchises you know and love, along with entirely new concepts developed in partnership by Hasbro and Skybound.
