Well let's see I fought and won with my new wig and this year I have a parking spot across the street from the convention center so I drove and that was interesting. I used my friend's parking spot. Her dog was the one who took a picture with Conan.

Vimeo & Hasbro Studios Revive Classic Hasbro Cartoons

Vimeo today announced a collaboration with Hasbro Studios to offer digital collections of classic animation series from the Hasbro Classic Collection, including fan favorites Transformers: Generation 1and Jem – both available now on Vimeo On Demand. Fans of the beloved franchises have the option to buy individual episodes for $2.99, rent for 24-hours for $.99, or purchase the entire series for $40. Additionally, the collaboration will bring hundreds of episodes across 13 Hasbro Studios franchises to Vimeo On Demand through 2015. For the first time, fans of popular animation series like Jem, G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, and Transformers can now own every episode in one organized collection on Vimeo to watch anytime across any device.

Toy Fair 2015: Funrise Madballs, My Little Pony & More

Back into the UK Toy Fair 2015 coverage with Funrise...one of those companies who are always accommodating, but you never now what you are going to see within their booth space! This Year's lineup included a small army of My Little Pony plush characters, Moja Monsters, Gazillion Bubbles, and the inevitable, inescapable return of ...Madballs! You'll notice Funrise seems to have gone for a printed design and not the traditional sculpted Madballs we are used to from the start of this property. I'm sure their thinking was that it didn't work out for the relaunch some years back, why would it work now? For collectors like me, all the appeal is in those sculpted faces on the balls! We'll see how it works out this time, but I'm fully prepared for a world of geeks screaming for the more traditional feel. Let's check out the goods...

It used to be my favorite time of year was just after Halloween, when all those amazing, creepy creations went on deep discount and you could fill your cart with junk you don't need....but you can't say no to! As I get older, I've come to appreciate the retailer's change of holiday isles and more importantly, what geektastic new products they hide among the isles of candies, decorations and dancing critters. This year you would expect an explosion of dork-themed items on shelves, what with the explosion of our movies at the box office and full infiltration of TV, but it seems some stores get it, and some stores are hesitant to pull that trigger. Here's a breakdown of killer holiday items we found in stores this year...

My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks Feature Film Coming 9/27

On the tail of a wildly successful run of MY LITTLE PONY EQUESTRIA GIRLS the movie in 2013, Screenvision has teamed up with Hasbro Studios and Shout! Factory to bring the full-length feature MY LITTLE PONY EQUESTRIA GIRLS: RAINBOW ROCKS to more than 300 cinemas across the U.S. and Canada beginning September 27. MY LITTLE PONY EQUESTRIA GIRLS: RAINBOW ROCKS the movie finds Canterlot High (CHS) hosting a musical showcase, and Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy are going to be performing with their new band, The Rainbooms. But when The Dazzlings, a new girl group, arrive at CHS and convince everyone to turn the friendly showcase into a Battle of the Bands, tensions mount between the competing musical acts. A now-reformed Sunset Shimmer realizes that the Dazzlings may not be ordinary girls and are after something far more sinister than just being named Best Band at Canterlot High. The Rainbooms call on Princess Twilight to restore harmony to their world to help them perform a musical counter-spell so that they can win a battle that now determines the fate of the entire school!

SDCC 2014: My Little Pony Going Strong

It's another year of San Diego Comic-Con under our belts, but we've still got TONS to show you. We're just going to go straight down the line so we don't miss a thing, so keep watching. Today, we visit with our uber pastel buddies from My Little Ponies and note that the amount of merchandise shown at the largest geekfest on the planet is growing EVERY YEAR! This year's lineup puts the cartoon sensations alongside their Equestria Girls counterparts in themes like "Rainbow Power" and "Rainbow Rocks", adding more characters and accessories. The snap-kit-esque Pop line had an amazing showing with tons of figures and playsets to collect. There were more plush dolls, more vinyl figures, more large figures with action features, more accessories for you to ponify any outfit and PONYMANIA evident on new pieces collectors will die for. There was also a massive display of 3D Printed figures that looked like they jumped right from the TV show, so expect fans to be screaming for releases like this until Hasbro gives in! We don't often cover Kickstartery fundraisers, mainly because doing so opens the floodgates to mail from all points and all manner of projects from the ill conceived to slightly off putting. It's like attempting to feed a single crumb to a single bird in the park. You get my meaning. OK this is going to be light on the info, as these new images were just dumped into my email with names attached and little else...and my pony expert is probably asleep somewhere. See, this is why you should always have a pony expert hotline or some such thing that makes magic wand sounds intermittently when you phone up. For my part, I'm just seeing a field of pastel colors and I try very, very hard to figure out what is new. Be that as it may, for die hard fans, some of this might be old news...and some of this might already be out..but know that I tried my best. Gosh darnit.

Toy Fair 2014: A Hefty Sampling of Hasbro's Lineup

2014 is set to be a show stopping year for Hasbro with the introduction of a number of game-changing products as well as updates to brand favorites, classic toys and gaming- in addition to innovative toy ranges that support the major film releases for Transformers and the Marvel franchises.
