We all saw the snap. In moments, half the sentient beings (we can assume EVERYWHERE) were turned to dust at the whim of a madman obsessed with his twisted version of balance, wielding the most powerful weapon every assembled. With all 6 infinity stones locked into a gauntlet, one could conceivably accomplish anything they wished. As we head into the Endgame, how can a band of Earth's Mightiest Heroes hope to avenge their fallen friends and stop Thanos' reign of terror? We've got some ideas.. some obvious... and one big one.
Once again, toys point the way. With the release of the new Endgame basic and Marvel Legends action figures, fans have gotten a good look at the Quantum Realm suits every member of the Avengers seem to be sporting in the new film, from Iron Man on down to Rocket. You'll remember the Quantum Realm from "Ant-Man and the Wasp". We've been given no hints as to why our heroes might want to go sub-atomic in size, but it's possible that is the only place they might escape the attention of Thanos. It's also possible going sub-atomic is the key to... TIME TRAVEL!!
From the earliest of shooting leaks, we've known that there is some time travelling shenanigans afoot in the newest Avengers saga. This is where my head starts to throb. Imagine the only thing that can defeat the Infinity Gauntlet is ANOTHER Infinity Gauntlet, gathered by the Avengers in the past. Now....if they were to do this and then travel back to the future (great scott!!), wouldn't Thanos have never possessed it in the first place and so, no snap has happened? Is that the plan? Welp..if that were the case, they'll need......THIS!!
Sure does look like a Stark-rigged Infinity Gauntlet, doesn't it? This would follow the comics, where Tony Stark is the only human to wield the gauntlet. From the image, it's obvious Hasbro's major spoiler popped up on a store shelf a little early, so there's no denying the reality of its existence. One could argue that Thanos needed a new gauntlet after he fried his own, but then...
This goofy mo wouldn't be sporting the classic version, would he?
