"The Boys” Spinoff “Gen V” Reveals Explosive Teaser Trailer

Prime Video released the official teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Amazon Original series Gen V. The series will debut exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world with three episodes on Friday, September 29, followed by weekly episodes, leading up to the epic season finale on Friday, November 3. Gen V will be a part of the savings, convenience, and entertainment that Prime members enjoy in a single membership. 

The official teaser gives audiences a peek into life at Godolkin University, America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International). From the world of The Boys comes Gen V, which explores the training of the first generation of superheroes to know about Compound V, and that their powers were injected into them, rather than God-given. These young, competitive heroes put their physical and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the school’s highly coveted top ranking. They quickly come to learn that ambition comes with sacrifice, and the difference between right and wrong is not as clear as they once believed. When the university’s dark secrets come to light, the students must come to grips with what type of heroes they are going to become.

PAX Unplugged 2023 Badges on Sale Today

Apple TV+'s "Invasion" Season 2

Apple TV+ today unveiled the trailer for the second season of its epic series “Invasion,” which is set to make its global premiere with the first episode on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. SDCC 2023: NICKELODEON Acquires Original 87' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series

In advance of the Paramount Pictures release of the brand-new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem theatrical film, exclusively in theaters on August 2, Nickelodeon is expanding the beloved franchise again with the acquisition of the original 1987 animated Fred Wolf TMNT series (193 x 22-min episodes, 1987-1996).

Under the deal, Nickelodeon has acquired global rights to the storied series, which follows the adventures of the beloved characters—Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo—as they battle the Shredder, Krang and other villains and criminals. The series is slated to debut digitally later this month in the U.S., followed by Nickelodeon branded channels and digital platforms internationally.

Pee-Wee's Bike Returns To The Basement Of The Alamo

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is proud to announce “Alamo’s Big Adventure,” a series of summer screenings of the classic Tim Burton comedy, PEE-WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE. The screenings will be held alongside a tour kicking off August 5th with an exact replica of the bike on site in Downtown Los Angeles, Staten Island, and Brooklyn before landing in its permanent home “in the basement of the Alamo” in Lower Manhattan. Each screening will feature photo ops with the bike, souvenir red bowties, and miniature replicas of Pee-Wee’s “missing bike” poster. On August 9th, the 38th anniversary of the film, the bike will be unveiled at Alamo Drafthouse Lower Manhattan with screenings, a party in The Press Room bar, and live-printed posters on the antique letterpress.
