BEA 2018: New LEGO Gear from Santoki

BEA (Book Expo) drops on us once a year and when it hits New York, you'd better believe we hop a train to shoot all the geekiness contained within. This year's layout was way smaller than we remember, so we took the opportunity to scan every aisle for the most awesome offerings from our favorite publishers and around each corner, there were unexpected surprises! One such smile-inducing discovery was Santoki. We are familiar with this crew mainly from our yearly UK Toy Fair coverage, so they were instantly recognized when we spotted their signature minifigure LED flashlights. Since we couldn't nail down what had been out for ages, was just releasing or had never been seen before, we shot the lot. Let's take a look at everything they had to offer...

School Supplies!! Markers, Pencils, Rulers, Stationary and mooooore...

Book Lights...

Minifigure LED Flashlights (the one leg is up because that's where the light comes out of!) We'll also note, for those unfamiliar with this line, that these flashlights are a bit bigger than your normal LEGO minifigure. 

For the first time, they've used silicone to make a semi squishy outer layer on the Banana Man and the Hot Dog Guy. Makes these two must haves!
