Seismic Toys in collaboration with Gums Productions, has announced a brand new partnership with the legendary Tezuka Productions to produce officially licensed Astro Boy figurines, available for pre-order right now. The figures mix Tezuka’s iconic Astro Boy with halloween-themed monsters for a unique blend of sci-fi, horror, and cuteness.
“Astro Boy is such an important piece of Japanese pop culture,” explains Seismic CCO Alex Rushdy. “We’ve built something totally unprecedented, mixing famous western monsters like werewolves and vampires with the classic Japanese brand. It’s really exciting for us as fans of classic horror and Astro Boy since we were kids. It’s also exciting for us to offer a blind box product at a lower price point than our usual figures.”
