Official Trailer for Apple's "Servant" from M. Night Shyamalan Unveiled

Apple's Servant from M. Night Shyamalan
During New York Comic Con, we took a rare break from all that running around the show floor to sit in a giant hall and listen to M. Knight Shyamalan talk about his history in film making, leading up to his newest project "Servant". Filmed entirely in Philadelphia (Shyamalan's home town), Servant is a thriller steeped in mystery and suspense. It seems like just when we've understood one facet of this tale, another shoe will drop. TWIST-CEPTION!!

Servant is the story of a young family who hires an even younger nanny to take care of their baby. Sounds pretty normal, right? Welp...the baby is a doll, used to help the wife cope with the death of her own child, and if a nanny for that child will help her heal mentally, her husband is all for it. What makes this tale so unique is the claustrophobic setting, as nearly everything takes place within the confines of their home, causing the scenes to play out like some Hitchcockian stage play. As we progress, the mysteries deepen. Is there more to this young family's past? Are their friends in on some larger conspiracy? And what of the origins of the nanny that seems all too willing to play along with a rather macabre act? This is sure to be one unforgettable show and I can't wait for it to air! Now LET'S WATCH THE TRAILER!!!

Apple’s “Servant” will premiere November 28 exclusively on Apple TV+, a new home for the world's most creative storytellers. The half hour psychological thriller follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage and opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their home.

Academy Award-nominated executive producer M. Night Shyamalan (Glass, Split, The Sixth Sense) directs the series alongside BAFTA-nominated creator, executive producer and writer Tony Basgallop (Inside Men, What Remains, "24: Live Another Day"). The celebrated cast of "Servant" includes Lauren Ambrose ("Six Feet Under"), Toby Kebbell (Kong: Skull Island, Fantastic Four, "Black Mirror"), Nell Tiger Free ("Game of Thrones"), Rupert Grint (Harry Potter franchise, Snatch).
