Shot using IMAX-certified digital cameras, the film’s striking visuals and stark horror atmosphere is captured with exceptional depth, clarity and intensity. Nearly a third of the film – 33 minutes – is presented in IMAX’s exclusive 1.90:1 Expanded Aspect Ratios (EAR), giving IMAX audiences more picture and greater immersion than anywhere else. Director Zach Cregger used EAR strategically, supporting major transitions for the characters and amplifying the emotional and cinematic impact of those scenes.
