Hasbro's been making a lot of noise with their newest Marvel Legends action figures based on Marvel Cinematic Universe characters. Likenesses have gone from Duplo to LEGO Master Builder levels in a very short time, but we've noted the tech is still hit or miss. Keep this in mind when looking over the unmasked head for Black Panther, as he looks damn good with a sort of laser printed, dot matrix-y paint job...and he sure looks like someone...but not really Chadwick Boseman. That said, the ladies from the film look pretty amazing!
Hasbro is showing a little bit of production fatigue, attempting a blistering release schedule no collector's wallet will thank them for. We've got some sloppy paints along with very visible spru marks and seams, all of which make the figures look rushed, which they most likely are. We're still talking about Marvel Legends though, so you are in for one of the best articulated action figures on the market, at this price point. They don't feel gummy, so we know the plastic being used it still substantial, and each figure can hit a variety of poses without fear of body parts snapping off. Further, swapping out hands and heads is stress free and easy.
LET'S LOOK AT SOME PICTURES!!
