Tenacious Toys is teaming up with longtime friend of the shop Playful Gorilla on the launch of a brand new property: the Banana Skinny Cap!
The new Banana Skinny Cap DIY platform by Playful Gorilla is his stylized take on a classic. With a cool play on words, of course the Gorilla and Bananas are a perfect combo! The Banana Skinny Caps are a 5” tall customizable platform that come in a limited run of colors offering plenty of space and options for working with aerosol, airbrush, paint pens, stencils or even your favorite clay. The Banana Skinny Cap DIY is a giant-sized homage to the graffiti scene and all those giants that came before us. Designed by Playful Gorilla & produced in vinyl by Tenacious Toys.
Tenacious Toys will be on NTWRK at 2PM EST on Friday August 27th live streaming a debut of the first two colorways of the Banana Skinny Caps: Green with Envy GID, and Young Purp. Benny will be joined by Alex (Playful Gorilla) on the stream.
Green with Envy is priced at $50 while Young Purp is priced at $45. Both are limited to just 100 units each.
The Banana Skinny Caps will also pop up on the Tenacious website later on in the weekend. Look for more colorways available in the near future at both Tenacious Toys, as well as select art toy boutiques and graff shops around the world.

In addition to the launch of the vinyl toys, Tenacious Toys will be releasing even more limited sets of Banana Skinny Cap NFTs via Opensea after the live stream ends. Look for specific info and updates on the NFT launch via the Tenacious Twitter.
