The Art of Goosebumps Back in Print

Dynamite Entertainment The Art of Goosebumps
R.L. Stine's beloved Goosebumps series has frightened countless generations, and to honor the rich legacy of these stories along with Tim Jacobus's iconic illustrations, Dynamite Entertainment released a best-selling official art book. Now with the book sold out and hotly sought after by ever-growing fans of the franchise, Dynamite announces a brand new printing to bring it back to shelves.

Since its debut in 1992 with Goosebumps: Welcome to Dead House, Scholastic's series has surged in popularity among adventurous young readers. Now comprising 62 books, the series has led to television adaptations, feature films, and various spinoff series of books. In total, this renowned Scholastic franchise has over 400 million copies in circulation.

Equally integral as the excitement and fear found within the stories by Stine, the stunning covers created by artist Tim Jacobus drew in readers and allowed them to picture the spine-tingling tales. The visuals crafted by Jacobus formed the series' visual identity, which continued to impact the various adaptations and merchandise that followed. So many children of the 1990s and beyond have a deep connection with these striking artworks.

Tim Jacobus, R.L. Stine, author Sarah Rodriguez, and designer Mark McNabb unite for an exploration of the entire collection of books and covers within the Goosebumps series. Both new and longtime fans can witness the transformation of original pencil sketches into the finished artwork, along with numerous discarded designs.

"This book is a big 'Thanks!' to the Goosebumps fans for their never-ending support for my art," said artist Tim Jacobus. "I’m honored to hold a spot in your collective memories that brings a smile. And of course, thank you, Bob Stine, for taking me along on this epic ride. Cheers!”

At 200 full-color pages, an oversized hardcover presentation, and insight from the series creators, the book is an indispensable resource for fans.
